DOWNLOAD: John Wesley Harding and Eugene Mirman's Cabinet of Wonders w/ special guests - Oh! Pandora (MP3)

GOTHAMIST: How did you go about picking who would accompany your (le) Poisson Rouge shows? As previously posted, John Wesley Harding's Cabinet of Wonders scheduled three shows at Le Poisson Rouge in NYC. The first was February 11th, the next is March 11th (TONIGHT), and the last is April 15th. Between now and the final show, John and Eugene will also do the above-mentioned tour together. That even includes a show at SXSW on March 20th. All dates, and lots of pictures from the Feb 11th show (with Jonathan Ames, Rick Moody, Eugene Mirman, Shivaree, Carla Rhodes, and P.T. Walkley), below...John Wesley Harding: People whose work I really like and people with whom I really like to work. You can go through the list like that. Mostly the reaction was very positive, as you can see from who's playing, For example, the one on Wednesday: Rosanne Cash - we weren't friends, but we are now. I'm a huge fan and have been for years. Errollyn Wallen - fantastic classical composer from the UK. She's setting some texts of mine to music and she's going to play one. She's coming over especially for the concert. Colson Whitehead - one of my favourite writers and a neighbour. I asked him to read a piece I saw him reading in Brooklyn recently. Colum McCann - a wonderful writer. We became friends at a literary conference in Paris, stayed up all one night singing folk songs, first in a restaurant with many people, and then in his hotel rooms. It was one of those nights that seemed never to end. I'm hoping Wednesday seems like that too, but in a good way. And of course Eugene Mirman will be there too - and we will then take the show, as "Wes and Eugene's Cabinet of Wonders" all around America - which means it will be him, me, all my friends, but all his friends too.

Hi. I wanted to drop you a quick note to express my thanks. I've been following your blog for a month or so and have picked up a ton of good information as well as enjoyed the way you've structured your site. I am attempting to run my own blog but I think its too general and I want to focus more on smaller topics. Being all things to all people is not all that its cracked up to be.

I admire the valuable information you offer in your articles. I will bookmark your blog and have my children check up here often. I am quite sure they will learn lots of new stuff here than anybody else!

If the borrower defaults the lender cannot come in and take your home, or your car, or any other collateral that could have been used in a secured debt consolidation loans. That is why these debt instruments are usually reserved for people with good credit.

Can anybody tell me what is actually being mentioned here by saying that she's setting some texts of mine to music and she's going to play one. She's coming over especially for the concert. Is it beneficial to marketing the music concerts like this?

This looks like it was a really good show. Was it just singing or more like a vaudeville show? I'm asking because of the pics of the woman ventriloquist and the saloon bar keeper playing the piano.

i saw a movie with a ventriloc man . It was spoookie :D

Many people are claiming that the investment in Iraqi dinar (IQD) is a low risk high return more surefire, get rich quick scheme. Iraq is one of the largest oil producer in the world. The initial investment is very low. You can get a million IQD for less than a thousand dollars. They are in the midst of war and chaos, but things are bound to change (in a positive way). The Iraqi dinar in Saddam 's reign was $ 3.22 per dollar. Soon the value of the IQD will rise and we can make a killing and retire early. Good sales pitch.

Sounds like a pretty cool gig and a good mix of music and comedy. I notice that a few of the festivals in the UK this year have got some higher profile comedy acts being included on the bill so perhaps it's the shape of things to come. http://www.shopvegan.co.uk
