"I have survived the interrogation of Atlanta's Immigration officials and Myrtle Beach shall have me tonite (Friday), and the world from then onwards ... if the world can take it. One of the many penalties of being human is that tours often take a military push to start, well, all of our answers will be in our songs tomorrow night. The bloodbath starts at 7.30. Life is testing you out. Be ready for anything." -MorrisseyMorrissey already had to cancel the first four dates of the tour - all Florida shows -

Someone at Homeland Security googled him, found "The Queen is Dead" and proceeded to label him as a potentially dangerous hooligan, who may or may not have ties to Al Qaeda.

Sorry, I confused his statement that he "survived Atlanta's Immigration officials" to mean there was some travel-related reason he cancelled the first four shows of the tour. Now I see the official reason is "illness" which was then followed by "interrogation".

Morrissey canceled a couple of shows? That seems so out of character for him...

Hi, do you know if any of Mozza's U.S. gigs will be broadcasted on radio or anything? Or do you know of any tapers of Morrissey gigs?
It's just that I run The Courteeners fan forum 'Snorting and Cavorting', which is kinda semi-official, who are supporting him through a lot of the U.S. leg of the tour!
I'm looking to see if The Courteeners will get any airplay etc. so I can cover it on the forum - I've started a thread for the tour and to gather up all the info about the dates >>> http://www.snortingandcavorting.com/index.cgi?board=gigs&action=display&thread=959

whatever.
i cant bring myself to listen to another disappointing solo album.
after seeing him live for the last one, my seemingly undying love for mozzer vanished into a painful nostalgia for the smiths.

hey, years of refusal is pretty great. "mama", "skull", great songs each. plus he plays smiths songs!
BUT he has to stop cancelling gigs. besides the florida dates, he just cancelled atlanta. guy has to take better care of himself or just stop touring so much. if he cancels anymore (especially the one im going to) im going to give up trying to see him

maybe he'll reunite the smiths and then cancel all the shows.
HEAVEN KNOWS I'M MISERABLE NOW
