Tool

Tool is rumored to be playing the 2009 edition of Lollapalooza (August 7-9 in Chicago's Grant Park). That would be in addition to the reunited Jane's Addiction who just seem like a given.

Jane's Addiction are touring with Nine Inch Nails earlier in the summer. NIN won't be playing Lolla though, because they played it last year.

The Pitchfork Festival happens in the same location city as Lollapalooza one month earlier. A few bands on that lineup were announced earlier today.

False, it's at Union Park.

Anyone who doesn't think Tool/Jane's Addiction heading up a bill is awesome needs to get kicked square in the balls.

Depeche Mode is a definite lock.

Tool fans definitely skew toward the Brohans, but the band itself is insanely good. I would love to see them again.

Aenima is one of the best album written in the 1990's

You know, the only thing that would make this line up complete would be...wait for it.....

"Kings of Leon will be among the headliners of both this year’s Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits festivals"

Seriously, does anyone in the US actually like Kings of Leon??

Danny Carey is one of the most talented drummers in recent memory. If you've never seen Tool live, you're missing out.

Music used to have balls, but not so much anymore.

I'm not the biggest fan anymore but you can"t fuck with Tool as a live band! Jane's/Tool/NIN would be amazing if you ask me. Throw in Faith No More and we have a deal!

spiral out!

I've seen Tool about 10 times and even if you don't like their music they put on a helluva show.

I have to be there for this.

you hipsters on here are lame with your anti-depeche mode comments.

about half the trendy, electro, synth-pop bands listed on this site wouldn't be here if it wasn't for DP.

get real.

haha. People whinging about tool being crap? I bet they listen to hiphop and mastorbate to 50cent covers in their closet?

Either that or some indie shit that no one has ever heard of and never will while they chainsmoke in their rooms till 5am every morning crying over how pathetic they are :3
