And yet Kensington is still quiet and DAMN cheap. And walking distance to the Prospect Park Band Shell.

Posted by Anonymous | March 11, 2009 1:55 PM

I think I missed a memo. The Yard is not happening this summer? I don't see anything on their website that says they are done.

Is it true? (Hoping not.)

Walking distance to the prospect park band shell? Perhaps... until the warrior gangs take over the streets and the band shell turns into an ultimate fighting ring - to the death. So yeah, your rent will be cheap, your street will be (eerily) quiet and you will only be a 55 minute train ride from the new brooklyn (Manhattan), the last safe place on earth. yay credit crisis.

dont be hating on kensington... thats where i grew up! russian parkway all the way...

"...until the warrior gangs take over the streets and the band shell turns into an ultimate fighting ring - to the death."

Two men enter, one man leaves. Well, at least I'll be able to put my knowledge of pig farming and producing electricity from methane to good use in the post-apocalyptic ruins.

The Yard is definitely closed. They're turning it into condos. It's depressing.
