Dinosaur Jr adds a Brooklyn show near Farm's release date

Dinosaur Jr

Dinosaur Jr's previously announced tour, part of which is with Mike Watt, runs through May 2nd. Where or if J, Lou and Murph play any shows between then and June 25th, I'm not sure yet. But on June 25th they will play Music Hall of Williamsburg. It's two days after their new album, Farm, is released by Jagjaguwar. Tickets for the Brooklyn show go on sale Wednesday at noon. All dates and Farm's tracklist, below...

1. "Pieces"
2. "I Want You to Know"
3. "Ocean in the Way"

8. "Said The People"

It's more like he's smirking in that photo. He's probably thinking "I just got the coolest new finger puppets for being brave at the dentist's office."

With Husker Du long gone, despite some great band work from Bob in recent years, and Fugazi seemingly gone for good, it is great to have both Dino and Burma around, vital as ever.
Can't wait.

That last record was friggin' awesome. Here's hoping the new one is just as good.

totally yep.

yes, it was a great record. it held up perfectly as a follow up to Bug, and yet somehow felt totally of the moment, fresh and fierce, not a throw back at all, just a continuation that made total sense. where you been was a good record and all, and feel the pain and wagon great songs, but in truth Dinosaur was a band with four discs, with the fifth coming.
wonder if lou has more than one or two tunes on it - the last couple of his on the last one were great, sort of Sebasaur. But J and Murph never sounded better too, and the live shows have been fantastic.

A Happy Dino-Husker-Burma-etc. Big Guitar fan psyched about some long absent no-irony real deal gen x post-punk rock, call me old school, but it kicks hipster rear. cheers.
