Largehearted Boy's Interesting CD Releases This Week
Bob Dylan releases his 46th album tomorrow, Together Through Life, and you can pick up the single CD, 2-CD plus DVD, or vinyl LP and CD versions. Of course, you could enter this week’s Largehearted Boy contest and win the limited edition along with a couple of my favorite books about Dylan.
A Camp’s Colonia is a strikingly beautiful collaboration between the Cardigans’ Nina Persson and Niclas Frisk. Among the rest of the week’s new releases I have already heard, I can recommend Cameron McGill’s Warm Songs for Cold Shoulders, Great Northern’s Remind Me Where the Light Is, Immaculate Machine’s High on Jackson Hill, and Thee Oh Sees’ Help.
The notable reissues are on vinyl this week, with My Bloody Valentine’s Isn’t Anything & Loveless and Pulp’s This Is Hardcore at the top of my shopping list.
