This band is NOT from Israeli.
They are from New Jersey.
They used to be called NUT BUSTER and were pretty much a Led Zeppelin cover band . . . though they did do a couple of Kingdom Come covers, anyway . . . do not believe the "We're from Israeli!" lie. They played the Shore all the time.
It's just a marketing tool.
Ever get the feeling you've been cheated?
Well, you have been.

I LOVED NUT BUSTER! Was anyone else there when they destroyed Luna Lounge?

^ is this true? I've been telling everyone they're from Tel Aviv...

11:39 What the fuck is wrong with you?

Who cares where they are from, they kill at every show. If you care that a band is from Israel or "only from New Jersey", then you are an asshole.

look, i'm from israel (from tel aviv for that matter, though i've been living in new york for six years now). monotonix are from tel aviv. amy shalev is a veteran of the tel aviv indie/punk/alternative music scene. and you're a nut-busting full of shit shit-eater.
kavod!!

There are many things wrong with me 11:47.
I am pigeon chested, flat footed, suffer from halitosis, short dicked, lazy-eyed, can't read social cues . . . but I am not a liar!
I am just trying to spread the truth.
We should meet up sometime.
I'll show you the VHS I have of them doing the entire first side of Houses of the Holy . . . and one Dread Zeppelin cover . . . which was really weird if you ask me. A cover band covering a novelty cover band's material? WTF. Anyway. They're from Jersey. I think Carteret.

11:56 is not from Israel.
He is from Long Island.
Seaford to be extact.
And he was a NUT BUSTER fan.
He just tells the ladies this "I'm from Israel" lie so he can get blow jobs . . . or some coke at a party.
One day I hope to get blow jobs . . . or do coke at a party . . . or even be invited to a party for that matter.
Please invite me. I'm from Israel.

You all fell for it!
Hook. Line. Stinker.
It's the old "Cover band from New Jersey pretends to be from indie band from Israel to call attention to their cover band" ruse!
All they wanted was for the world to recognize the merits of being in a cover band . . . and they got it!
I just read in the Carteret Chronicle that Monotonix will be back as NUT BUSTER for this summer at the Shore.
All right. We did it!
Good work everyone.

Can someone help me find Israel on a map?
What exit is it off of the Jersey Turnpike?
Thanks in advance.

Does anyone have an extra ticket for the July 17th show? It's sold out now. I'm totally bummed. I read on the NUT BUSTER blog that they were going to be pulling out Hot Dog and I do not want to miss that.
