Awesome show. Soft Circle and Gang Gang really blew my mind! Two of the best bands around!

we are so fucked.

All 50 people that were there look amused.
Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2009 4:30 PM
I thought Soft Circle was pretty lame. Wanky and unsubstantive.
Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2009 4:32 PM
I think I saw that guy in brooklyn today
Posted by anonymous2 | April 28, 2009 4:41 PM
i wish i went to a school that was indie enough that you could have a musical festival where the biggest acts were gang gang dance and soft circle and a ton of people would still show up. should have went with barnard.

is it just me or does gang gang lady dress like one of those cloaked abu ghraib prisoners?
Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2009 5:03 PM
Unsubstantive and wanky, huh? I highly disagree. I think Hisham (Soft Circle) is an amazing drummer. I can respect anyone who can get people up and dancing who doesnt have a laptop or ipod in front of them!

the bands are fine. the audience looks a little boring though. why are people sitting down in most of the photos?
Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2009 7:51 PM
soft circle fuck yeah!
Posted by Anonymous | April 28, 2009 7:52 PM
any photos of acrylics? they had some sweet jams.

dear columbia kids,
you are a hipster if you like these bands. even more so if you were at the show. even MORE so if you are in any of these pictures.
lots of love,
hyphy

I love these pictures so much, especially the ones from PackFM. Somehow the photographer managed to hide the utter disinterest/horrifying awkwardness. It's beautiful.
Gang Gang Dance was amazing, though.
p.s. not to say that there aren't plenty of Columbia/Barnard hipsters; however, about 90% of the crowd wasn't from either school. Most of the audience was over 25, at least.

sup. i was at the show (only for soft circle). i dont go to either school, i go to school in south jersey. it was fun though i mean shit was free and whatever whatever. people there were just mad lethargic like they dont wanna dance but whatevs. nigga in NDG tshirt finally got crowd to get off they ass.

Posted by yoyo | April 29, 2009 7:06 AM
Pack FM werent bad. I think the disinterest had to with the fact that the show was running late and those guys performed for over an hour.
Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2009 7:23 AM
