The Hold Steady @ McCarren Pool (more Kyle Dean Reinford)
Hold Steady

"We're excited to announce that the Hold Steady's show on Thursday, June 11, at the Music Hall of Williamsburg, has been added to the official Northside Festival lineup. So if you were taken off guard when the shows sold out in minutes flat, we've got your back. All you need to do is pick up a badge ($45, on sale now) and make sure you get to the venue on the early side." - Northside Festival

The other Northside shows happening at the same venue, are listed HERE.

one of those bands i wish i wouldn't have to be reminded of....utter garbage in the oasis vein

Posted by Anonymous | April 13, 2009 1:07 PM

are you sure about that? dont you want to make some kind of argument that this is a band for "kids" or something? most of you assholes seem to want to do that when badly knocking a band.

Hold Steady haters have serious mental problems

Posted by Anonymous | April 13, 2009 1:12 PM

Not a hater. Just seen their crowd and they look, umm, a lot like the band. Not a lot of kids.

Going to the MOnday Bowery show. I haven't seen them before, but I saw their recent performance on PBS and they put on a great show.

Posted by Anonymous | April 13, 2009 2:44 PM

33 is old? that's not even halfway to the avg life expectancy.
i bet you won't be saying 33 is old when you're 33... and oh yes, you will be, someday.

Posted by Anonymous | April 13, 2009 3:05 PM

"All you need to do is pick up a badge ($45, on sale now) and make sure you get to the venue on the early side.""

Can you say CMJ?

I can't wait until June 12 to hear all the people bitch and moan on BV.

Posted by Anonymous | April 13, 2009 9:12 PM

The fact that the tickets were sold before badges were even mentioned, makes this sound like BSS at CMJ where there were only like 40 badges let in. Can someone from northside comment on this? How many badges are being sold and how many will be able to get into the big shows(eg the MHoW and Studio B shows)?
