omg the twilight sad. did they play siren fest(speaking of) two years ago and the singer had his back to the audience the whole time? i remember kind of liking the music though. really might not be the same band, then i would be embarrassed, haha.

I believe the Twilight Sad played at CMJ 06 and other shows around that time. I wasn't at Siren 07 but that was probably them.

Alan Vega is not playing the Throbbing Gristle show. To make up for it, Throbbing Gristle are playing an extended set

I called Le Poisson Rouge to confim set times and they told me doors at 7, first act at 8, Benoit Pioulard at 9, Windy & Carl at 10. So I get there at 9 and Pioulard is finished, defeating the whole reason I went to the show in the first place.
Anyone catch the show, how was he?

Throbbing Gristle was pretty cool, left early though.
Dude and his girlfriend on acid (or shrooms) starting shit on the floor and getting shoved/punched by a bunch of people, then dragged out by security = highlight of the show.
persuasion was also very good.
