Sunday's contest between the Yankees and Los Angeles Angels was postponed by rain in New York.

No makeup date was announced.

It was LA's lone visit to Yankee Stadium this season.

Both clubs have open dates on Aug. 3 and Sept. 14.

Some people just don’t know when to let well enough alone, especially when alcohol does the talking.

Such was apparently the case with a Dave Matthews Band fan following the band’s Tuesday night concert in Alpharetta.

According to Alpharetta police spokesman George Gordon, the woman, whose name has not been released, got into an argument with her boyfriend in the parking lot of the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park.

Both the woman and her boyfriend were intoxicated and when she allegedly bit her boyfriend, a Roswell police officer working the concert intervened and calmed the couple down.

Gordon said that neither party wanted to file charges against the other. “They just wanted to go their separate ways,” he said.

The Hoboken fest went on as scheduled. They had a pretty big tent set up in front of the main stage. Box Tops played for over an hour, Chilton seemed to really enjoy himself and they were great.
