Largehearted Boy's Interesting CD Releases This Week
St. Vincent's sophomore album, Actor, is in stores Tuesday, and is already one of my favorite albums of the young year.
Among the other releases already sent my way, I can recommend Akron/Family's Set Em Wild, Set Em Free, Alasdair Roberts' Spoils, Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band's Outer South, Double Dagger's More, Horrors' Primary Colours, Patrick Watson: Wooden Arms, and Pink Mountaintops: Outside Love.
Reissues this week are dominated by two British acts. Morrissey releases remastered and expanded editions of Maladjusted and Southpaw Grammar, and the Rolling Stones roll out four remastered albums.
Light in the Attic Records' remastered edition of Rodriguez's Coming from Reality is yet another stellar reissue from the label that recently lovingly restored discs by the Monks and Serge Gainsbourg.
The Kills are also reissuing Keep On Your Mean Side with bonus tracks.
What new music can you recommend this week? What's on your shopping list? Did I miss any releases?

i've heard St. Vincent's new album twice - no offense to anyone, but it's pretty unmemorable. it's kind of boring.

"How much does Large Hearted Boy pay BV a week for all of these posts?"
Why do Largehearted Boy posts always breed conspiracy theories?

That pic of St. Vincent makes me dislike her very much. It's a horrid photo.
