new Cornershop video, single + new album this summer

The above image is the cover of new single "The Roll Off Characteristics (Of History In The Making)" by UK band Cornershop, which is out now on their Ample Play Records imprint. The song can be purchased through the band on 7-inch, CD or MP3.

The B. side is an etch by NYC's part folkie, part indie-rocker and part comic book artist extraordinaire Jeffrey Lewis, depicting the super dooper Indian super hero Jaganath, whom can circumference the earth in 5 steps.
This summer, Cornershop is slated to release its first album in seven years (the last was 2002's Handcream for a Generation). In support of that, the band has a short set of UK tour dates scheduld for July and August.

Jeffrey Lewis just released a new record, 'Em Are I, and is opening for Art Brut at the Mercury Lounge on Friday, June 5th.
