Thanks for posting these pictures. The one of David playing bass and myself playing drums should be under The Smittens.

Hey everybody, let's start a band!
CAN WE PLEASE wait 'till a group has existed longer than a month before devoting coverage to them? I mean fucken' hell, even the HUGE bands like Vivian Girls still only have ONE GAWDDAMN album! To hell with the lot of 'em.

"Hey everybody, let's start a band!"
Hey numnuts, do you even know who any of these bands are? Try googling Rose Melberg to start...
Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2009 10:17 PM
and Vivian Girls are good right...?

10:17 - The very fact that you think anyone outside your twee indie-pop circle knows who Rose Melberg is is just too precious.
Are you the same person as the Her Space Holiday fan who was claiming that the Bell House was going to sell out for his show, when in reality, the night of, it was practically empty?
Posted by Anonymous | May 29, 2009 11:42 PM
so 11:42, which is it? were you or weren't you at the Her Space Holiday show? If you hate them so much, why would you go? If you didn't go, how do you know how many people were there?
And are you or aren't you also 9:51?
And are you concerned how long a band has been in existence or how many people know them? Because suddenly the issue has changed.
Regardless, your comments about Rose Melberg makes you look like an idiot.

So does that mean I was right, 10:17/11:53...that you ARE the same person? Didn't you learn your lesson last time? I must say though, you are a master of straw-man argumentation. Too bad nothing you said even begins to address anything I said, either in this post or in the Her Space Holiday post.
You really just can't comprehend that an entire world exists outside of your highly subjective experience, can you? Why is that? It's kind of odd and more than just slightly narcissistic, dontcha think?
And no...I'm not 9:51...even though I agree with him/her.

so, singing with elliott smith at a record in-store performance now means that someone is huge? ninja, pu-leez! r u for real???

Nobody is saying Rose Melberg is huge.
Everyone would agree though that 11:42/1:41 has a small brain.

I love Rose Melberg. "The Best Days" is one of the best love songs ever written.
