Suckers' new video for "Easy Chairs" below...
Tonight at the Cake Shop is first of two NYC shows with No Kids/ex-P:ano members Nick Krgovich and Julia Chirka. (The second is tomorrow night, 3/20, at Sycamore. Plus their MySpace also lists a house party on Friday 3/22.) At the gigs, the pair are playing as To Bad Catholics, while Krgovich will do a performance of "songs from Sade's Lovers Rock." More information on that, with news about upcoming No Kids-related recording projects, below...
No Kids news
[On upcoming solo dates] I'm gonna be playing a set consisting of the songs from Sade's Lovers Rock... I started doing the Lovers R interpretations back in 2006, although, it's been a while since I've played it in front of people, but I'm looking forward to revisiting the idea... Plans are in the works to release the recording of it in the Fall... It's pretty spare, air organ, yamaha psr 75 keyboard, singing... Katie Eastburn is going to join me and sing on a few songs too... Which I'm thrilled about... She is one of my favourite singers...This year's releases are still in the works, there is the LOVERS R album, there is a NO KIDS pic disc 7" on AAGOO , I have this recording project called GIGI and it's almost ready to be released, there is also a NO KIDS 12" in the works for the fall... Basically if things pan out the way they should there will be 4 releases comin' by the end of the year... I am still writing the next NO KIDS record... I can't see that coming out any time before the Spring or Fall of 2010... [Nick Krgovich of No Kids]
