Anyone have setlist from last night's BPB show? It was about 5000x better than the Santos show. Matt Sweeney played guitar on "Blood Embrace" and it was EPIC.

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2009 9:54 AM

Cymbals Eat Guitars were ridiculously good last night.

Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2009 10:42 AM

anybody see the fuct comedy show last night at house of yes? I'm going tonight, just wanna see if it holds up to their last performance. It tends to be a mega hit or miss. Either, slap your ass funny or painful to sit through with them. But as long as they keep putting a keg on stage with em, I'll be there.

I'm also looking for the setlist. The Sweeny - BPB song was indeed EPIC! Amazing stuff.

bpb started around 9 last night and finished a hair after 11. amazing show. lots of stuff was off of the new album, which is good but quite country western-y.

as everyone else has said, the version blood embrace they did last night was phenomenal.

He changed a lot of the arrangements up, though: there was some heavy rock rifs, some whirling psychedelia, some stone country. Eclecticism at its best. BPB was great!

So did Her Space Holiday sell out like the lemmings were claiming it would?

Posted by Anonymous | May 23, 2009 12:33 PM

Dear 12:33,

You are mean and trivial. I just finished getting my Masters in Literature and yet, out of all the rhetorical possibilities afforded me thanks to The Vocabulary That Student Loans Built...those two adjectives remain the best descriptors to sum up your wanderings around the comment boards since the Her Space Holiday post and, in all admittedly judgemental likelihood, you. Mean. And. Trivial.
