1990s were supposed to play that Mercury Lounge show tonight too.

Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan were supposed to play Webster Hall last night.

"It's too easy to look at Chickenfoot [who are playing Irving Plaza tonight] and see only the two members of Van Halen who weren't invited on the recent reunion tour, the Red Hot Chili Pepper who is arguably the least crucial to that band's chemistry, and a guitarist most famous at the moment for suing Coldplay for plagiarism.

But, respectively, Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony played together for 11 years, Chad Smith's extracurricular drumwork with the Dixie Chicks proved his versatility, and Joe Satriani has always been more song-oriented than the rest of the pack of 1980s guitar shredders." [The Boston Globe]

Ditto on question for Here We Go Magic/Grizzly Bear set times. Anyone know what they are?

My 80 year old grandma looks just like that baby falcon. Nobody is calling her adorable.

Should be lots of elbow room at the Grizzly Bear shows, judging by all the folks dumping tickets on CL because "they just can't make it".

Agreed 5:53p.

I couldn't believe how much space there was at the sold out Peter Bjorn & John show at Music Hall. Everybody buying to sell and in this economy it ain't working.

Roc Raida's DJ Gong battle at SOBs. Starts at 9. Anyone can show up, anyone can DJ. But you only have a minute to show your stuff, and if you don't cut it, you'll get gonged. Heavy hitters showcasing and judging.

Grizzly Bear at Town Hall was just incredible.
The acoustic of the place is just unbelievable and Grizzlys put on a great great show. Some of their new stuff was sometimes rough on the edges. (Surprisingly, Two Weeks was kinda disappointing.)

Set times was about 8:00 Here We Go Magic till 8:45. Grizzly Bear went on at about 9:15 then went till 10:45.

setlists?

I might be wrong, but this is what I remember.
The asterisk indicates for Brooklyn Youth Choir, so that might change for tonight.

Fine For Now*
Service Bell -> Knife
Two Weeks
Colorado
Little Brother (Electic)
Ready, Able
I Live With You*
Foreground*
While You Wait For The Others

Encore

@imkoreansowhat I second your disappointment with Two Weeks, it did not live up to the album, but it was live....

BYC, however, lived up to the hype.
