Didn't Springsteen (not to mention his fans) see this coming after Ticketbastard and/or the promoters did the same thing with Billy Joel at Yankee Stadium last year?

"the promoters did the same thing with Billy Joel at Yankee Stadium last year"

It was Shea Stadium, not Yankee Stadium. I was one of those people that got screwed. I really don't care about the last show aspect, I was pissed off that I missed Paul McCartney.

Last show at Giants Stadium doesn't mean much. Shea Stadium was a big deal (first stadium concert EVER, Beatles connection, Bill Buckner).

Bill Buckner on bass, or off base?

Almost a exactly a year earlier, on Aug 23, 1964, the Beatles played the Hollywood Bowl. Too bad my point would be more interesting if the Bowl was a stadium instead of "the largest natural amphitheater in the United States". Oh well, I suck at trivia... hats off to Shea

Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuce always adds shows. Besides, do u think Friday, October 9th is going to be the last show? Esp. on a weekend....doubt it.

He may add October 10th 2. Time will tell. All u can do is listen and wait on line again. No biggie.
