Screaming Females are incredible. See 'em in a New Brunswick basement some time.

just looking at these screaming females pictures bores me. where are the GOOD rock bands?

It was incredibly loud. Loudest Dino show I've ever seen probably.
Screaming Females are a must see. Amazing is really the only word. The whole crowd who knew nothing of Screaming Females were going apeshit for them by the end of the set. Annnnnd... they're actually playing on Thursday at MHOW.

One of the dumbest comments ever- congratulations!

One of my favorite bands, but seriously the worst show i've been to. I was up front so this may have been the problem, but it was so loud that all I heard was loud noise, nothing else. I saw J moving his mouth, but didn't hear any words come out. Throughout the set I asked myself if the Mic was even on. Love the band, but sad show. Hopefully people in the back could hear better then what i did.

yeah, you kinda had to strain to hear the vocals up front, but it's like that at pretty much any really loud concert. you're sacrificing sound quality when you're right up front, especially for a band as loud as they are. earplugs help filter out a lot of the noise so you can hear the music.
anyways, they rocked hard

i'm glad that we finally got a post about this show, was wondering all week if it was coming. this was a phenomenal show that really blew my expectations. regarding the complaints about how loud it was - yes, it WAS - my ears were ringing after the show and i was actually wearing earplugs! but the vox and everything sounded great to me - maybe i was far enough back to get the full effect.
and what about the crazy frat-boy types and the pit? as distracting and annoying as it sometimes got, at least this brooklyn crowd showed some enthusiasm and emotion!

The vocals are always almost inaudible right up front at MNOW. I was about 10 feet back in the center and could here the vocals fine. How were the shirts expensive? $20 wasn't too bad.
