Iggy Pop w/ Brighton Port Authority on Letterman (video)

Iggy Pop performed with Fatboy Slim (as the Brighton Port Authority) on Letterman last night (6/22), and he'll do it again tonight on Fallon. Maybe Iggy will show up at Terminal 5 on Wednesday too, after he's finished speaking with the NY Times. Letterman video below...

Well, it took 30 years, and it had to be a cover, but a Monochrome Set song finally got played on US television.

Wow...all of the energy and urgency stripped away from The Monochrome Set's best tune. Me no likey and I'm an intense Iggy fan...but this version simply doesn't work.

With rare exceptions, covers of songs you already know and love are always disappointing. Get over it!

^ That's not the least bit true

i bet Bid from the Monochrome Set has had a really good chuckle at this hilariously camp / showbiz version of his song.

I'm with 10:32 here. Most people don't like to hear their favorite songs covered in a different genre. This is especially true if the original artist is an acquired taste and cover is done by someone more popular.
