Jesus Lizard tickets are $25/each, with a $10/each per-ticket surcharge?!?! Anyone know if I can buy tickets at Irving Plaza's box office for no fee?

The Irving box office has a service charge as well but it is not nearly as brutal as online. About 2 or 3 bucks a ticket.

same fee for bob mould -- but even higher percentage, since the ticket itself is cheaper:
$21.00 for the ticket
$10.50 fee

man, where do they get a set big enough to slap a nearly fifty percent fee on there and not even have the decency to come up with a legit sounding "name" for the fee. "Ticket fee." The fuck?

Ugh, was afraid it was going to sell out before I could make it to Irving's box office and thus, paid the ridiculous fee.

Who cares

You fool. Chances are if it sold out early the second show would have been confirmed. Thanks for supporting Live Nation.

There is a $2 service charge at the box office. An 8% fee for buying at the box office?
F- that, I am just going to stiff the bartenders the first two rounds. This way Live Nation are screwing the bartenders, not me. Don't like it? Complain to your bosses.
