Pet Shop Boys

Pet Shop Boys will tour North America at the end of August into September. Those shows include two night at NYC's Hammerstein Ballroom on September 1st and 2nd. Presale tickets for the tour are available now.

The tour is in support of the band's latest album, Yes, which came out in the US April 21st on Astralwerks. The videos for the record's first two singles, "Love Etc." and "Did You See Me Coing," are posted below.

Earlier this year, the band received an Outstanding Contribution to Music award at the Brits. At the show they performed a medley of their songs, with guest spots by Lady Gaga and Brandon Flowers.

A video of that performance, with the above-mentioned vids and all tour dates, below...

I predict the crowds making up this show will be 90% straight people.
And in other news, Newt Gingrich has just accepted the title of Grand Marshall of next year's Wigstock Festival

Yeah man, Soviet CCCP clothing is so fuckin' rad man. What a tool.

Posted by Anonymous | June 9, 2009 5:01 PM

Chris Lowe is from Blackpool in England. That CCCP garbage is so weak.

i would go to the NYC show but they want 57 bucks not including surcharge... that being said they usually have very elaborate stage shows, with alot of people they have to pay. still too much $$$.

Rocky only wears the real Che Guevara shit!

Posted by Rocky_Napoli | June 9, 2009 6:25 PM

If you think $57 is too much for PSB, you really don't need to see them.

"Yeah man, Soviet CCCP clothing is so fuckin' rad man. What a tool."

Who said it's real Soviet? It's probably a Chinese knockoff.

awesome, thanks for the link!
why does Lady Gaga always look so retarded?

Posted by Anonymous | June 9, 2009 9:01 PM

Their "Release" minimal stage show was a misstep, but everything before or since has been worth the loot--they spend it on the production. In spades.

i have a boner

Posted by Anonymous | June 10, 2009 3:53 PM

this is going to be worth every penny!!!!

the "Did You See Me Coming?" video is brilliant!

Posted by derektrainwreck | June 17, 2009 5:28 PM

To the person who doesn't want to spend money to see the PSB show: you don't deserve to see their show. Sit in your house and count your cents you loser.

Add more shows in Los Angeles, Vegas and Mexico City... You were always on my mind...

and what about southamerica? Peru is waiting for them. we really love pet shop boys

I might be a loser, but I'll be $86 dollars richer after this show! I was thinking.. um lets see.... $30! I remember peter gabriel pulling a similar stunt 5 years ago here in Washington. The place was 10% full, but those that did go paid full price! Who were the losers then?

Posted by imawinner | July 19, 2009 8:25 PM

Are they touring with anyone?
