seems like they are trying to keep the guidos to a minimum this year...theyve ruined this series...

very interested in seeing spacetime continuum and branca.

For those who might not know, DJ Pierre is considered "The Godfather of House." His sets are typically amazing, though I haven't heard him spin in at least 10 years.

yay Im so sick of house

Posted by Anonymous | June 18, 2009 4:40 PM

the crappy douchy 90s always live on at PS1

I'm too cool to go to PS1. So I'm going to sit home and play my PS2 and post messages online about how situations that exacerbate my social awkwardness are lame.

is that garden still up? or was it a temporary installation

PS2? That's ghetto.

use to be a good party like 6 years ago. now its just a bunch of eurotrash and shecky's chicks.

The Spacetime Continuum guy with Move D sounds potentially good.

What's weird/amusing is the way they program all this bang-bang-bang house music with these left of field non-linear bands that it's apparent very few of the crowd have any idea about. The best was that Oneida show in 2007 when Sightings had people fleeing with hands over their ears!

ps1 needs some new curation, all around

Well for what it's worth, this is the best lineup in 3 years. Yard>WarmUp at this point...

DAVID BEHRMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does it really matter who the DJ is? They are all interchangeable. What matter is the style that is being played. They should list that info instead.

techno > house

highly disagree. if you have ever seen a good dj you would not ever say anything like that...

9:18 is walking ignorance.

9:18 speaks the truth. Somebody order in a trained monkey.

I agree with the poster that said that the Yard (Sunday Best) has a better line-up, at least for techno fans. I went to PS1 in the past, but from what I heard, it got too crowded in the last couple of years. But, most good things in NY eventually get too crowded.

dj music is a joke

Posted by Anonymous | June 19, 2009 2:45 PM

Posted by jujube | June 19, 2009 3:16 PM

GROWING!!!!!!

Posted by Anonymous | June 19, 2009 3:17 PM

yeah Joly that was the best! can you post footage from that show?

Posted by Anonymous | June 19, 2009 3:29 PM

I suk koc in butthole flocks of sheep eating penguin flavored hydrogen. Everyone stinks and it makes me discharge anal leakage.

Posted by Anonymous | June 19, 2009 3:59 PM

This line-up doesn't do much for me. Water-Taxi seems to be offering much better parties this year.

I love your site and the article is useful!
