Daptone 11-piece Budos Band has an EP coming out in a couple of weeks, called, appropriately, The Budos Band EP. It's a collection of unreleased tracks from recorded between The Budos Band I and II sessions. It'll be out on vinyl and mp3 on June 23.

What time does Budos go on? Apparently there is some DJ kicking things off at 6 pm with them playing a little later. Set time?

"Music on the Oval will feature free family-friendly concerts at 7:00 p.m. New Yorkers and visitors will groove to a different pre-show DJ each night starting at 6:00 p.m.."

They are closing off the Hudson Sq. Concert series on August 11th as well....
