anyone have doves' setlist?

Posted by Anonymous | June 5, 2009 12:06 AM

Just got back but off the top of my head from Lost Souls, The Last Broadcast, and Some Cities they played (in no particular order):

Almost Forgot Myself
Black and White Town
Caught by the River
Here it Comes
Last Broadcast
There Goes the Fear

That might be all from those three albums or there could've been 1 or 2 more. The rest of the set was about 5 or so from Kingdom of Rust.

They fucking rocked.

doves man you forgot the Cedar Room which they just started playing in Toronto a few nights ago on this leg of the tour...

Posted by Anonymous | June 5, 2009 5:52 AM

So yeah... I was up all night and then went out, bought Cigs and two Coorslight22s and Doritos.

Since then I am on cloud 9 and STUFF. I guess u are all going to school or work.. or doing important stuff. Not me, a soon to be 24 year old from brooklyn. Listening to a new album though.

I am now naked (symbolically; kind of.) there is more to me.. more than you can see. Perhaps infinity.

Whatcha think about that? Huh.? !., ? ;: [)

I love Doves and have seen them numerous times but that show SUCKED and the sound at Terminal Five was terrible! Did someone forget to turn up the bass?

Posted by Anonymous | June 5, 2009 9:05 AM

The Doves were awesome last night. The crowd sucked.

Doves sucked last night...and I am a huge fan. The drummer was totally off key...was going too fast...and the mix was horrible. How does Terminal 5 get away with selling so many tickets when it is clear that not everyone can have a decent site line? I will never go back there again.

Posted by Anonymous | June 5, 2009 10:21 AM

you meant off tempo, dumb dumb. the Doves drummer doesn't play in any key.

WTF?!? The Doves show was a bit of a train wreck last nite. I'm a huge fan but Jesus it was rough for the first half of the show. The drummer was way off from the start and obviously couldn't follow the click with backing tracks. That or none of them had good monitor mixes because tempo and timing were all fucked. A real drag considering how pumped I was to hear the new album which is dope!! It did get a little better past the middle of the show but didn't connect right. Oh well, I hope they come back sooner than later and play a different venue.

Doves are crying right now :(

They also played 'Rise' from Lost Souls too, I believe.

Posted by Anonymous | June 5, 2009 11:42 AM

setlist was something like

Almost Forgot Myself
Great Denial
Kingdom of Rust
Black and White Town
Caught by the River
Cedar Room
Here It Comes
The Last Broadcast
There goes the fear.....

Posted by Anonymous | June 5, 2009 11:56 AM

Yeah the drummer messed up on about 3 songs but nothing to cry about. Sound was good. Show rocked and it was fun. Quit your cryin.

the acoustics at my middle school auditorium are better.

and i've seen lemonade stands that are more sophisticated than that make-shift bar they have, with one bartender.
