Polaris

Steve Jordan, Founder and Executive Director of the Polaris Music Prize, today revealed the Short List of 10 Canadian albums eligible for the fourth annual $20,000 award.
The 10 nominees are, in alphabetical order:

joel plaskett deserves it so hard. he's been nominated a few times now and completely skipped over.

if patrick "polaris winner 2007" watson gets another, i'll be sad. i can't believe he's nominated again, really. what has he done?

i'd be happy with malajube too. they're lovely.
