Ambulance LTD @ Mercury Lounge another time (more by Bao Nguyen)
Ambulance

AMBULANCE LTD - PLAY THEIR FIRST GIG SINCE BEING FREED FROM THE LENGTHY TVT BANKRUPTCY DEBACLE.

AUGUST 18TH 2009 @ MERCURY LOUNGE, NYC.

Ambulance Ltd have been in legal limbo for two years now but are finally free to sign a new record deal. Their first NYC gig since selling out Bowery Ballroom last Summer is going to be at the intimate Mercury Lounge on August 18th.

Marcus will be joined onstage with his brother Kevin Congleton on drums, Ian Fenger on guitar, Jeremy Kay on bass and Matt Sumrow on keyboards. These musicians also play with Dean and Britta, Lissy Trullie and even Marcus' hometown compatriots of Eugene, Oregon The Cherry Poppin Daddies!

Listen to new demos and a great Radio Session and Interview which previews new songs and sheds light on the legal battle at www.myspace.com/ambulanceltd

What are the chances that the band with "LTD" in their name is talking about legal issues and bankruptcy? Actually the other band (member) with LTD in their name is pretty good at getting involved with the law too. Tickets for the Mercury Lounge show are now on sale. Videos below...

'intimate' means 'we cant sell out the bowery anymore.

Glad to hear they can put this behind them and start playing out more.

when you're a band in its infancy, release one great record, and then are out of the music landscape for years... yeah, i'd imagine it could be hard to immediately be able to sell out bowery.

A few months after their new record gets released you'll be lucky if you can score a ticket to see em at Webster.

Their debut was one of the best albums of the last ten years. Great live too. Looking forward to them getting back on track.

Stay Where You Are is one of the best songs ever.

Whoa. The guitarist in blue on the Primitive video just did a Michael Cera impression @ 1:31

Good band that deserves more attention. That should come slowly though and these guys are humble.

OH REALLY?? because they CERTAINLY sold out Bowery last July, and the Olsen twins were there... You're jsut jealous because you probably are a talentless hack who wishes you could sing like Marcus...

Well if the Olsen twins were there, that definitely means Ambulance LTD is relevant. Yeah....What?
