The big Diesel show happens at Webster Hall in NYC tonight (7/30). Hopefully you already have a ticket or wristband. Special guests at the show will in fact be Lykke Li (who is here to play All Points West and will probably perform a song at Webster Hall with The Roots) and Clipse (who will probably perform a song at Webster Hall with Kanye West) (remember, Diesel likes live mash ups). There's a Jay-Z rumor going around, but all I've heard is "not true". For Passion Pit the Diesel show will be their second with the Roots in two nights. Last night it was on the Jimmy Fallon show. With this many acts rumored that this show is going to go until the sun comes up, and will still only get about 15 minutes of each act. I predict this ends badly. A shame, could be a good time in a much much bigger venue (or um. at a festival. too bad none of those are coming up soon)

That schedule makes me glad to be home with a Woody Allen movie and some cheesecake. Those transitions must have been awfully smooth, what with the precision timing and all. If they wanted to give Noisettes the full ten minutes, I mean. Awfully smooth. The d.j. set after Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt was probably a really great five minutes. Goddamn Diesel. Goddamn jeans.
