Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:28 PM

I got tix for webster and both T5 shows - epic win.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:28 PM

sold out...

Posted by all2soon | July 17, 2009 5:28 PM

"New York Tickets are currently sold out." I don't know how anyone got these tickets. bullshit.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:28 PM

i know- i couldn't even get the website to actually appear on my computer screen! i hate ticketmaster, but damn, sometimes, i like it better than this sh*t

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:29 PM

you had to have the link to the musictoday ticket portal from nin.com already open sometime before 5 to even have a chance.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:31 PM

Couldn't get the site to load even before 5 o'clock. At least with Ticketmaster I feel like it's my fault for being too slow, this felt more like complete stupid ass luck if you could even get through to the server. Sucks but what can you do.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:31 PM

damn....the site was so messed up....got nothing..

Posted by chris | July 17, 2009 5:32 PM

couldnt even get it to load, started trying before 5

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:32 PM

Something feels so wrong.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:33 PM

Zilch

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:34 PM

Got on the portal site at like 4:58. By the time I got in Bowery was gone but I snagged 2 Webster.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:34 PM

i couldn't even turn my computer on. something's fishy..

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:34 PM

Site was so screwy, couldn't get anything to load. Not a happy camper.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:34 PM

Tried for Bowery but ended up with 2 T5

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:35 PM

Total bullshit! I tried to get on at 3:45 and it wasn't doing anything! I'm pissed!

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:35 PM

first off, i couldn't even get on nin.com like 5 mins before they went on sale. i finally got on and i got tickets for webster and dont even know how it happened.
i had to recreate a new account for nin/musictoday even though i had an account on both. after i made the new account i couldn't read the cache thing like 5 times so i almost gave up. finally it took my info and i got the tickets at around 5:10

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:35 PM

yeah you had to go straight to the musictoday ticketing site. luckily i had it in my history so i went straight there when the nin site wouldn't load. was able to grab a ticket for bowery. very stoked.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:35 PM

I had the Musictoday page open all day, but still couldn't get the link to load at 5pm. I was in the virtual line for 20 minutes before I got that sold out message. Oh well. I'm not exactly surprised... though terribly jealous!

Posted by M | July 17, 2009 5:36 PM

got to the "Waiting Area" and stared at my screen. waste of time i guess.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:36 PM

got two webster tix by going directly to the music today page

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:41 PM

got all 4 unreal.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:41 PM

got two tickets to Bowery!%$%#$@$#@@!#!@#!@@#@#@#$$#$@#$

yah... the ppl on nin.com didnt have a chance... had to be on the musictoday.com site already...

Posted by g | July 17, 2009 5:42 PM

What a bunch of bullshit. First off I got through around 5:10. Then the site would not accept my pass code. I had to create a new account. Finally got to the ticket section and no tickets were left.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:42 PM

rubbish!

Posted by ROCK STARchitect | July 17, 2009 5:43 PM

so....what percent of tickets for the T5 shows were up for pre-sale?

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:44 PM

I don;t get it: I was logged in before 5:00... I started buying Bowery tickets IMMEDIATELY yet if I selected 2 or just even one ticket for ANY of the shoes it simply said non were available..and that was at around 5:02!!! how is that even possible? They can't sell in one or two minutes, please.

Posted by jmarquez | July 17, 2009 5:45 PM

70%

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:47 PM

ohhhhh whoops i guess ALL YOU ASSHOLES TALKING ABOUT WALTZING IN AND SCALPING BOWERY TIX TRULY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT SYSTEM YOU WERE TRYING TO TACKLE

meanwhile i got tix to webster and bowery and i will truly be enjoying my EPIC EPIC WIN

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:47 PM

I went through NIN site at 4:59 and got two for T5... was in the waiting area for three minutes first.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:48 PM

that was pretty harsh, stayed in the waiting area for 9 minutes and didn'tget anywhere for anything. And we didn't have to compete against scalpers either...wow.

There really should be a limit on how many shows one can attend, especially when the demand is as high as it is.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:48 PM

Bad form NIN.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:48 PM

I got two for Bowery. Was on the site way before 5 pm and had it opened on two different screens. I refreshed one to see what would happen and the connection timed out, so did not mess with the other one and luckily got through. I had to stare at the waiting room screen for a few minutes though

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:48 PM

I couldnt even find the link on the Music Today site. Where was it?

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:49 PM

when does the general public sale happen?

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:49 PM

i guess it helps to know how to operate a web browser and web page in getting tickets :)

Posted by g | July 17, 2009 5:51 PM

haha, best offers accepted on ebay for 1,000 and 1,500 for single tickets!

Good work! I love capitalism.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:51 PM

HAH no scalpers? prices on stubhub right now are at $350-1000 for the new york venues.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:52 PM

T5 tickets go on sale July 30

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:53 PM

got 2 for webster. logged on nin.com around 4:30 and made sure i went to the tour section and hit the more info link to make sure it went right through to musictoday.com. took a shower, came back at 4:50. was in the waiting room at 4:59 freaking out that this shit was a waste of time but around 5:07 i got in. tried for bowery but no luck and went back and got webster. have no idea how these other people got tix to multiple shows.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:53 PM

i got two tix for bowery. but i don't even like NIN, so i'm gonna burn the tickets.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:53 PM

hey 5:52 it says NONE AVAILABLE for bowery, dipshit

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:54 PM

scalpers?..geez no wonder the server was so slow...assholes

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:55 PM

i'm pissed because i put up my craigslist ad for 2 tickets, and now people keep e-mailing me saying that i can't sell 2 tickets bc there will-call, like i don't know what i'm fucking doing. i hate wasting time sifting through idiot hate mail, you know what i mean guys?

YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN?

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:56 PM

he didn
t say bowery. he said new york, dipshit

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:57 PM

people actually have paid 1,500 for ONE TICKET on ebay
unbelievable, makes me reconsider bringing my friend to the show lol

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:57 PM

why the fuck would you be scalping T5 tix when they only sold 10% of them in the presale???

the only ones worth scalping are bowery and clearly so far the people who got them are the people who deserve them.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:59 PM

looks like you are better off flying to chicago. ebay selling singles for 130-250. tix to bowery?
1,600-3,000.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:00 PM

@5:56pm Well you don't know what you're doing because you can only sell one. You have to go in with them.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:00 PM

i'm probably going to sell my extra ticket to webster but i want it to go to a legit fan. in my craigslist ad i'll ask for an essay on why they deserve the ticket lol

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:01 PM

@6:00PM

No, 5:56 is right. You can go and sign two people in if you present valid Drivers License and Credit Card. Sucks.

Posted by guy | July 17, 2009 6:02 PM

i got my ticket for T5 really easy...

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:02 PM

yea you can sign two people in. will-call is always the same

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:03 PM

my friend bought one on his dads credit card since he doesnt have one, will they let him in if his dad goes with him and explains the situation? it would be a little unfortunate if i had to go alone.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:06 PM

I have a feeling Trent will have something to say when he sees the ebay, craigslist, stubhub listings...its really sad to take advantage of his fans during this recession.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:06 PM

if someone emails me with the same government name as me, i can sell both.

there's gotta be another nin-loving Ross Polombo out there..

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:06 PM

the venue in chicago seats like 4500.

Posted by anon | July 17, 2009 6:09 PM

i hope they play closer

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:09 PM

whats the link damnit?

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:13 PM

Says NY tix are sold out, but the portal for the Webster show is still open...

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:13 PM

cobralegs

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:15 PM

in waiting area by 4:57, got in at 5:05 , picked the ticks, already sold out. what is the point in waiting in line? fuck.

Posted by A | July 17, 2009 6:15 PM

i just got two for webster..

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:20 PM

Anyone actually buy tix for any shows past 6?

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:21 PM

it currently says pre-sale to the 2nd terminal 5 show are still available

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:30 PM

"you had to have the link to the musictoday ticket portal from nin.com already open sometime before 5 to even have a chance."

BINGO!

got webster myself that way. should have thought of that 30 secs earlier

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:31 PM

@6:02pm "No, 5:56 is right. You can go and sign two people in if you present valid Drivers License and Credit Card. Sucks."

Do you mean as a Bowery policy or as a NIN pre-sale policy?

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:40 PM

i think the will call policy on this will be much more strict. usually you can just go pick up your tix then go and do whatever with them, but the website says in this case you have to go immediately inside. interested to see how this plays out.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:45 PM

will the terminal 5 tix from ticketmaster also be will call only?

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:49 PM

doubt it, T5 should have the option of hard tix through ticketmaster

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 6:51 PM

Can someone give me a link to this "musictoday ticket portal" so I can at least know what cost me getting tickets? Thank you.

I'm upset and need closure.

Had 2 computers going at the same time. Got Webster tix on one hand, missed out on T5 on the other. Really figured it would go the other way around, but I'm totally stoked.

Posted by panopticon | July 17, 2009 7:00 PM

nin.com ticketing has a zero tolerance for scalping and insists that all patrons of our service abide by the policies stated herein. all nin.com tickets are will call only with the customers name printed on the ticket. legal id matching the name printed on the ticket will be required for pickup on night of show. once tickets are picked up the customer and their guest must enter the venue immediately. there is a 2 ticket purchase limit per registered nin.com member, per show. tickets are non-transferable and no name changes are permitted after purchase.

good luck with that, scalpers

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 7:18 PM

the second ticket can be scalped. i dont see why it cant. a guy buys two tickets. sells the other and they go in together. who is to say that the ticket was scalped?

when the shows were announced, i said that i hoped that they would only sell one ticket per person and make them will call and force you to enter right away (and some guy responded saying i must have zero friends) that's the only way to remove scalpers. honestly, if a guy is able to sell his extra ticket for 1000 dollars on ebay, im surprised that every single person that bought two tickets isnt ditching his friend and selling the extra. that's an insane amount of money for a show.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 7:31 PM

@7:31pm I got two tix to Bowery and even for that much, I am not ditching my +1.

Mostly on the principle that I fucking HATE scalpers.

Anyone who tries to take advantage of another person's passion for music DOES NOT LOVE MUSIC.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 7:42 PM

all of the stubhub listings are gone...

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 8:04 PM

i bought 2 on stubhub for webster before they were pulled..what happens now

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 8:12 PM

how much did you pay?

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 8:14 PM

This was all a fucking lottery. The server was jam fucking packed. My boyfriend had that page open all fucking day and was waiting "in line" on the server for over ten minutes and everything sold out by the time they brought him to the page where he could buy them.
And my only other connection to get in is out of the country and Im sure that VIP lists filled up within moments too. Im fucking devastated.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 8:14 PM

i'm in @ webster. awww hell yeah.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 8:14 PM

I'm in @ Echoplex in LA...hell YES.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 8:17 PM

Going to Echoplex & Fonda shows bitches. MWAHAHAHAHA

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 8:20 PM

I in @Wiltern and Echoplex! The best two shows of my life!

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 8:21 PM

I don't know how, but I got 2 tix for all 4 LA shows.

Oh wait...Now I know how - I deserved it. Been following NIN since day one and didn't get any NY shows. Now I've got to fly across the country, but I'm not complaining. I just want to see them in NY as well...

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 8:53 PM

got one for the last one in NYC, should be a proper night out.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 8:54 PM

the thing is, after waiting in line, alot of people gave up when they saw "no tickets are available at this time, try a lesser amount of tickets" etc. the truth was, you just had to keep trying as peoples credit cards were denied / their transactions timed out and tix opened up. that's how i snagged mine for webster. boo-yah.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 9:07 PM

i never made it to the line. i wasn't able to log on. my username/password were rejected even though i use that same username/password to log on to nin.com every week. basically, i started trying to log on at 4:30 and the website was down and couldn't make it. Kept refreshing. After 5 i finally make it to the website but my username/password don't go through for some reason (i doubt i misspelled them 20 times). Other people somehow are able to buy tickets to all four shows. Some of these scalpers might make more money off the shows than trent will. I guess NIN SEVERELY underestimated how many people would try to buy tickets even though we all knew they would be incredibly hard to get. They were obviously unprepared since the entire site crashed.

it's disappointing. I still find it incredible people with one computer were able to buy tickets to multiple shows. there must have been some serious bug with the system.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 9:21 PM

what is this T5 july 30th date. i thought the public sale is july 31st?

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 9:25 PM

I got tix for Bowery and Webster. Also for the Wiltern and Echoplex in Cali!!!

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 10:12 PM

i got my two for bowery ballroom. i logged into nin and musictoday before 5. refreshed screen until in waiting room. i watched the fan bulletins while it all happened. consider myself lucky. excited as hell.

Posted by annie momus | July 17, 2009 10:23 PM

all the people saying their usernames/passwords were no good are you talking about BOTH nin.com and musictoday.com or just nin.com?

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2009 12:32 AM

I suppose the good thing is that most people who got tickets are fans and will actually enjoy the show. Though I'm sure someone out there will figure out how to screw someone.

It does suck about the site though. That was completely ridiculous. If you did get tickets to this show it was purely by luck. Sadly, I did not get tickets and guess I won't be going.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2009 1:55 AM

I got 2 tix to bowery muthafuckas!!! if you weren't logged in before 445 you likely didnt get anything

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2009 2:17 AM

so i wasnt logged into musictoday or ticketstoday (where i got the ticket, i dont know the difference i have never bought ticket from the NIN site directly) and i got a ticket just fine. i was surprised how easy it was to get a ticket.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2009 2:23 AM

Is it me or does it seem like about 1,000 people got Bowery tickets? Someone at Bowery said they had 280 tickets for sale yesterday via NIN.

I love NIN but I'm more bummed not getting Pearl Jam tickets for the last show ever at the Spectrum.

Pretty much a shitty day all around.

That's okay because Modest Mouse in Montreal is going to make me feel better. Remember when fan club presales were kind of fun because you actually got tickets?

Have fun at the shows everyone.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2009 5:46 AM

I love Nine Inch Nails, I've been a fan for a while now and I wanted to get tickets to the added tour dates...until I remembered that the whole reason they even had to add these tour dates were because Trent fucked up and made NIN's Farewell Tour less of a farewell and more of a welcome to Jane's Addiction. How he thought opening up for Jane's Addiction would be a sufficient goodbye, I have no idea.

I felt completely and totally jipped after the Jones Beach show and if I would have known that it was going to suck, he was going to know it sucked and was going to add more dates because it sucked, I would never have gone in the first place. I would have just waited and spent my hard earned money on tickets for one of these shows. Unfortunately we can't see the future, though seeing that NIN went on before JA really should have been a warning to me.

It puts the fan in an awkward position. I don't want my last memory of my all time favorite band to be the Jones Beach show because, to me, it sucked and obviously it sucked to Trent too or he wouldn't have added more dates, but I also resent having to give them more of my money after they fucked up the first time. I'm still unsure of my own decision but if I do purchase tickets for a Terminal 5 show when the general sale comes on and the show is not incredible, I just might have to find a new favorite band.

Posted by Alessa | July 18, 2009 7:36 AM

that jones beach show was great
stop complaining

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2009 12:14 PM

@alessa - you should find a better favorite band, regardless. industrial is so 1993.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2009 2:44 PM

Have you listened to NIN lately? Not exactly industrial...not exactly 1993.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2009 3:12 PM

^ i've listened to them since day one and i was (half) joking. i do find it funny that an 18 year old (alessa) is rambling on about her "favorite band of all time" though. so that's like, what, a whole 2 years of buying music with her own money?

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2009 3:21 PM

@alessa, if they were really your favorite band you would do anything just to be in the room for one of their final shows ever, and to that person who said it seems like a 1000 people got tix, really people like myself who got tix just wanted to post it everywhere, the only way people heard about these shows were through internet forums so if you see 30 ppl who got tix its really not surprising because most are regulars on music/nin forums

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2009 10:11 PM

i got tix for all 4 shows, people crying are funny

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2009 10:30 PM

Boo Hoo, scalpers can't scalp. Go die of AIDS you vultures.

Posted by Jim | July 19, 2009 3:31 AM

A lot of NIN fans are a bunch of babies! These shows were like winning the lottery and people have a sense of entitlement like they are the ONLY true fans out there and THEY are the only ones who deserve tickets and if THEY don't get them then Trent sucks as a person and doesn't care about his fans. Are you serious?! Get over yourselves. And to the people who bought plane tickets from Ireland and other places before you even got tickets, well that was just a dumb idea.

Posted by anonymous | July 19, 2009 7:09 PM

^ ha. so very, very true on all counts.

Posted by Anonymous | July 19, 2009 7:11 PM

got bowery and final show at T5

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2009 10:40 AM

It's all paperless now. Even T5.

Posted by Anonymous | July 23, 2009 12:49 AM

I put up an extra two the other day on ebay.
I originally had two friends going as they both agreed, but after I put down the tickets on my credit card, they ended up bailing on me two days ago due to conflicted plans and being able to make it down into the city.

Was just hoping to get what I paid back. I put it up for auction at .01 cents. Its a no reserve auction so whatever they go for is what they go for. Hope you guys find tickets regardless. Not everybody out there is trying to make huge $ on ticket sales...

Posted by glo | August 15, 2009 12:14 AM

... you put the tickets on ebay and then play the "not everybody out there is trying to make huge money" card?

Posted by Anonymous | August 15, 2009 12:36 AM

WE GOT 8 FOR EACH TERMINAL 5 SHOW AND ARE GOING TO MAKE BANK! i have to thank this site for posting the fact that some more had been released. my girl was able to bag 4 and 4
