Friday All Points West tix being honored Saturday & Sunday!

All Points West on Friday - right before the rain (Michael Sondak)
All Points West

Due to the weather going on today, we'd like to invite Friday ticket holders to come back to the festival on Saturday or Sunday.

Simply bring your Friday ticket or Friday ticket stub for entry into your choice of Saturday or Sunday.
(excludes transporation)

Just to repeat, EVERY SINGLE PERSON who bought a ticket to the first day of All Points West now has a free ticket to Saturday or Sunday.

if they want tix to sell they should try to put together a better lineup. if i can see the name 'crystal castles' on a promo poster from afar, we've got a problem.

The only reason they would ever do this is because they didn't sell enough to make a difference anyway. Companies never do nice things just out of the kindness of their heart, EVER.

They'll make up for the slow ticket sales with lots more concession sales this way, and everyone with friday tix gets a free show. It's for their benefit, but it's really win-win. Just cuz it's not out of pure goodness, doesn't mean it's also malicious.

8:12 is completely right. i doubt it will be overpacked tomorrow. it was under-attended if anything today. i was able to walk up to blue comet at any time of the day and get a decent spot to watch the band.

I'm shocked that apparently no one actually took time to correctly read the statement on the APW website. Your friday single ticket is honored either Saturday OR Sunday. Not both. Go to the website and verify it. No one needs to worry about anything being overpacked. Saturday OR Sunday, people.

I saw this at 830 and got off my ass to scalp a ticket so I can see Jay-Z and have another full day of music.

I managed to get one for twenty bucks. Jay-Z was pretty disappointing (bad song selection, no special guests) but at least I'll get to see St. Vincent, My Bloody Valentine, Neko Case, Trail of Dead and Crystal Castles.

i bet if you used ticketfast, you could just print the sheet twice and use it both tomorrow and sunday. ticketmaster isn't set up to scan multiple events simultaneously. they'll likely mark the friday stubs for those with hard tickets, but if you used ticketfast -- congrats, you've pretty much gotten yourself a three-day pass for the price of a single ticket.
