Good news about Team Robespierre being added. This will be pretty awesome if the weather holds up. I was on that pier the other night at like 10 p.m. when they were setting up the stage. There'll probably be a lot less cruising tonight.

these are the last days...when two annoying fucks can make a living bringing their annoying fuck music to other annoying fucks. i can't wait for the economy to really collapse, then we won't put up with this bullshit and annoying fucks like this will have become the fry-cooks they deserve to be.

I feel bad for these guys. Everybody love them the first couple of months when they are new... now they eat dick .I dont really love this band with all my heart but they are just having fun like every other band thats gets made fun of on here. and why does almost every post have to do with hipsers? Hipsters dont equal nazis. They just dont know better

10:53AM, 12:55PM, 2:15PM, 2:59PM -

Stop spreading the hate. It's tiresome and whiney. It's a beautiful day outside and there's fun music to be seen and heard on the waterfront. You can come along or choose to sit in your corners and be Debbie Downers.

Posted by not your mom | July 9, 2009 4:09 PM

hipsters don't listen to this band

"i can't wait for the economy to really collapse, then we won't put up with this bullshit"

I can't even begin to imagine the sad, unhappy life a guy like this must lead.

meh-meh, meh-meh, meh, meh, meh-meh

Posted by Anonymous | July 9, 2009 5:29 PM

I saw Matt and Kim open for Cut Copy a few months ago. I had low expectations for M&K and high for CC and it turned out just the opposite. These two just want to spread a little fun around, they actually play their shit, and if you run into them off stage are about as nice as can be. I'm looking forward to seeing them again Saturday for a goofy but fun evening. Some of these comments seem like they have the same sensibilities as the Taliban! Lighten up...

Posted by dogboy | July 9, 2009 5:37 PM

Have a nice Meh. :|

Posted by Anonymous | July 9, 2009 5:58 PM

I'm gonna go to this just so I have a basis tomorrow to tell you hipster pansies that it was a shit show.

Posted by Anonymous | July 9, 2009 6:12 PM

team suck-it

Posted by Anonymous | July 9, 2009 6:51 PM

what the shit is wrong with maine?

kahbang looks like a good time and maine is beautiful this time of year.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 2:58 AM

Matt and Kim are fun in a little club or on a stage with about 100 people watching. On a pier with a shitload of people where you can't even see the stage and the sound sucks complete asshair, they are not good.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 3:06 AM

Matt & Kim are great but the audio completely sucked on Pier 54.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 9:22 AM

The KahBang Fest in Maine looks sick. The lineup is solid and the venue is 40 minutes from Bar Harbor, top 20 tourist destinations ON EARTH... I'll be there

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2009 2:46 PM

Yeah, you're all crazy! KahBang is going to rock. What do u mean the lineup is a bust? I think it looks sick. Also, apparently they r going to be adding more acts. I don't know about the hipster thing, but even if it is, it's still pretty cool that New England finally has a festival that isn't just jazz, blues, or folk for old people and families. I'll definitely check it out this year and if it sucks then oh well. It's only $27. Bonnaroo and crap like that costs hundreds.
