Say Please

Monsters of Folk - comprised of Bright Eyes' Conor Oberst and Mike Mogis, My Morning Jacket's Jim James and singer/songwriter M.Ward - have made a track from their forthcoming self-titled debut album available for FREE on their website. http://www.monstersoffolk.com is giving away the song, titled "Say Please", to anyone who visits the site and types "please" into the request form. The.. full length album will be released in the US on Shangri-La Music on September 22nd.
M. Ward plays Central Park Summerstage on August 1st.

i rather enjoy jim james and m. ward but oberst is a deal breaker.

"Jim James" is probably contractually obligated to record exclusively for another label.

Who cares about the band name? I'm glad it's Monsters of Folk and not Monsters of Crystals or Wolf Monsters or Dirty Wolf Crystals.

You folk need to take yourselves less seriously.

Usually when lanky white boys call themselves "monster_________" they are being sardonic e.g. Monster Bobby. M. Ward sounds like he eats razors for breakfast and he owns my eternal soul.
