seriously who the hell do these "monsters" of folk think they are? i've heard 1 song from them and i'm supposed to cough up $60 to go see them? no thanks.

Pricey indeed. Could be worth it depending upon the strength of the album. The shows they did back in '04 together were amazing, but they focused on each member's solo material. Notice that Saturday 11/7 is open on their itinerary. I'm thinking that they're maybe angling for SNL that night.

Exactly, they came up with NOTHING to play but a great Dylan cover. Conor can't even count off to begin the Dylan tune. What a joke.

that is the crappiest vocal version of Girl from the North Country EVER! Listen to how poorly phrasing is Conor's vocals are given the lyrics. In fact, no one has good phrasing in this entire version.
They're all better on their own and aren;t professional enough yet to work with other vocalists. Clusterfuck.

I really only like M. Ward. 60 is really too much. I don't know if Beacon and United Palace usually charge this much. I think I'll skip it seeing at M. Ward show is FREE at Central Park.
