NIN Wave Goodbye

nin.com only had access to a limited number of tickets for the upcoming terminal 5 dates in new york. the remaining tickets will be available through ticketmaster. in an effort to keep tickets in the hands of the fans and out of the hands of brokers/scalpers, ticketmaster will be selling the remaining tickets via their new paperless ticketing system.

here's how it works:
1. buy your tickets online using a credit card.
2. bring the credit card used to purchase your tickets and a valid government issued photo id to the venue.
3. go directly to the door with your guests, present your id and swipe your credit card for immediate entry into the venue. Go to ticketmaster's paperless ticket faq for more info

on friday july 24th, ticketmaster is offering nin.com members an opportunity to purchase "paperless" tickets for the upcoming nine inch nails performances at terminal 5 [and Aragon Ballroom in Chicago] before they go on sale to the public.
to buy tickets for the terminal 5 performances in new york, click here at 5:00pm edt.

Bowery Ballroom and Webster Hall tickets are already gone.

Thanks for making it harder for us to get tickets! You should have posted this after it went onsale.....it defeats the purpose of being on the mailing list for NIN or Bowery.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 10:19 AM

You also need to have a nin.com login and password for these tickets.....

Posted by paul | July 24, 2009 10:20 AM

No you dont Paul, nice try...byebye

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 10:23 AM

get ready for round two

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 10:27 AM

Not even going to bother

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 10:29 AM

BV, you're such a fucking ass..thanks alot!

Posted by Dusty Rhodes | July 24, 2009 10:32 AM

Why the fuck would you post this???

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 10:33 AM

"in an effort to keep tickets in the hands of the fans and out of the hands of brokers/scalpers"

BV please delete this whole post and do not post similar ones in the future for shows that are near impossible to get. The Scalpers will figure a way around this new paperless effort and by putting up this presale password u make it harder for the fans who are really trying to get tix.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 10:35 AM

I appreciate when BV post this stuff because I don't have time to comb all the bands pages I like...this is just one stop shopping! Thanks BV!

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 10:38 AM

Seriously, there really should be a limit to how much presale information gets leaked onto this site. It's going to be cutthroat enough as it is, without all the people who wouldn't have known about this otherwise vying for tix, too.

Let the people who aren't paying attention and/or who aren't tuned in compete in the regular on-sale.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 10:39 AM

so only these presale tickets are paperless, or all the tickets afterwards also?

i'd like to have a ticket stub to keep...

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 10:39 AM

anon 10:38...SHUT THE f up...

now all the hipster posers like you will get into the show..and people who actual fans won't.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 10:41 AM

10:41 Just becuase I don't go to the bands page doesn't mean I am not a fan of the band moron!

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 10:46 AM

Chillax, everyone, this is Terminal 5 you're arguing over.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 10:48 AM

and since everyone hates the venue and people are banning it I will easily get tickets and so will you die hard fan 10:41..

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 10:50 AM

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 10:58 AM

prediction: NIN reunion tour in 5 years

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 11:05 AM

I already got tickets so I will just use this as my lazy Friday afternoon entertainment.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 11:08 AM

As if it weren't going to be difficult for those of us who were trying desperately to get these tickets already. Anyone who wants to go that badly would have received the email about this - and even still we probably wouldn't be able to get tickets. Now the entire BV community knows also, so I get to compete with everyone here in addition to all the NIN fanatics. Thanks a lot for fucking up my shit.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 11:10 AM

You people need better ticketmaster skills..it is easy to score tickets if you know what you are doing...

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 11:16 AM

hahahahahahahahahhahaaha pwned by the internet

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 11:17 AM

Quit shitting on BV - seriously, who are you "competing with" to get these tickets? The password is already all over the internet if you zipped up your pants and pulled yourself away from your favorite porn site and did a quick google search. Besides, if you can't beat these mouth-breathers to the tickets who think posting Meh comments day-after-fucking-day is high comedy, then you don't deserve to see the show.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 11:18 AM

i hope to get tickets for this show as well
seems like the admission will be same M.O. as for Bowery and Webbster Hall, so at least some control on scalping

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 11:18 AM

I can't believe some broke-ass hipster hasn't whined about the ticket price yet. Unbelievable.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 11:26 AM

11:26 it was cheaper than Jones Beach and PNC! What is there to complain about..TM fees on the other hand are something to complain about but what can you do!

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 11:31 AM

There is no such thing as an overpriced ticket to a NIN show.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 11:34 AM

@11:18

Hahahahaha fucking brilliant.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 11:34 AM

"prediction: NIN reunion tour in 5 years"

I take the under on that bet

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 11:34 AM

You people are a bunch of fucking children.

I, along with THOUSANDS of other people, GOT all this information from the fucking EMAIL BOWERY SENT TO US YESTERDAY. Shitting on BV for posting this info makes you as stupid as you probably fucking look.

LOSERS!!!!! You deserve to fucking get locked out of getting tickets.

Posted by rajah of rehab | July 24, 2009 11:36 AM

I have a NINE INCH DICK

Well almost... if you round it off to 9 using the common decimal 0 - 1, 1 - 9 standards. Uh.. I dreamed that I was sucking titties of a beautiful girl on the subway. We fell in love. She said "I guess we are gonna have babies now." It was a sweet dream.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 11:43 AM

Wave Goodbye.

Can we get that signed and in writing Trent?

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 11:44 AM

I got tickets to so many concerts thanks to the info that you post here. I don't ignore the fact that it doesn't help that so many peopole know about these presales & promos, but I don't really have to much time at work to track this sort of info so I guess it's fair: sometimes I win & sometimes I don't. So thanks BV!!

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 11:47 AM

11:43 you made me cream so much in my panties, I am dripping down my leg. I hope God blesses you with a very beautiful girlfriend and lots of success and "luck."

Posted by heheheheit'sme2me | July 24, 2009 12:03 PM

I don't know any NIN music but I think I will buy ticket now after reading this. Are they good?

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 12:15 PM

Nine Inch Nails are like Kings of Leon and Daft Punk combined Dude

Posted by heheheheit'sme2me | July 24, 2009 12:35 PM

I want to stick my Nine inch Nail into the Bowery Ballroom

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 12:36 PM

he hasn't made any music worth listening to since 1994. so no big loss, 12:15

Posted by h8tr | July 24, 2009 12:41 PM

My little cousin found out the presale password on the playground this morning. Said he and his playground friends are going to buy some with their parents credit cards...

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 12:45 PM

I guess "my guests" are getting scalped, then.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 1:45 PM

"I don't know any NIN music but I think I will buy ticket now after reading this. Are they good?"

Holy shit, 12:15, you just brought back an embarrassing memory for me. Sometime in the '70s, my parents got a letter from MSG or whatever that said sorry, the Led Zep show is sold out. I was all WTF, Mom & Dad, Led Zep is a band that the bad kids like. It turned out one of their friends (they all must've been in their late thirties at the time) had told them they should check out Led Zep, they'll be at MSG, so my Dad wrote to MSG (or whatever) to inquire about getting tickets.

I will now look for some scat porn on the Web to try to shove this memory from my mind.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 2:06 PM

what a fucking douchebag thing to do. fuck you BV. why do you guys post this shit? it doesn't make it any easier for fans to get tickets... any big fan is a member of the nin site and would have heard about it anyway.

show some fucking discretion you cretins.

Posted by u_r_douchebag | July 24, 2009 2:21 PM

2 tix for Tuesday! No sweat.

Posted by maitai | July 24, 2009 5:10 PM

"got 4 tix to the 2nd show"

They shoulda had a 2 ticket minimum.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:11 PM

WTF I got them for Wed, filled out everything, pressed complete order, and then it said error and brought be to Tuesday nights page. What the hell happened?

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:11 PM

got 4 for each night. Wasn't that hard at all!

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:11 PM

already sold out. nice.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:11 PM

"They shoulda had a 2 ticket minimum."

They should do a 1 ticket minimum. Everyone with 2 tickets just brings some girl that doesn't even appreciate it anyway.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:12 PM

brutal chapka puzzle cost me. what the fuck was that? it could have been an a, an e, or an 8. fuck that shit. gone. fuck ticketmaster.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:12 PM

WTF...I just got 2 after it told me it was sold out for 10 minutes.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:13 PM

lol @ the bowery presents site being sluggish.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:14 PM

"got two tickets to come up twice in a row, dumped 'em back. It's not that hard people."

Tickets would have been easier to get if douchebags like you weren't window shopping for them. It took me a while before I was able to pull up a pair.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:14 PM

"WTF...I just got 2 after it told me it was sold out for 10 minutes."

that's thanks to people who can't figure out the captchas on time, or just being too slow and releasing tickets.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:15 PM

YES my order just went through!!!!

Keep trying!

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:15 PM

watch craigslist light up with tickets being available. some guy bought four tickets...will sell three...show up, walk in with his three guests...walk out. Gotta be an easy $300-$400+ profit.

fans get fucked all the time

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:16 PM

woo hoo got mine! (always wanted to say that)

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:17 PM

They honestly should've had a 1 ticket and that's it policy. It would completely get rid of scalpers and its not like it would really inconvenience people to just pay their own way immediately.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:17 PM

Thanks for posting the code for the tickets that where meant only for nin.com! lamers =P

Posted by nutsaq | July 24, 2009 5:18 PM

tickets are still available, at least to the 2nd show. i just got 1 now.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:19 PM

I bought a pair and out of curiosity tried for another pair and got it but put it back.

So keep trying if you want the tickets....they seem to be pooping back in.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:19 PM

i'm hoping that you meant popping and not pooping

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:21 PM

I got two tickets on my first try, right at 5... pretty easy. i was ecstatic.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:22 PM

POOPING?!?! Sick!!!

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:22 PM

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:22 PM

I meant popping, but I like pooping better now.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:22 PM

it was on the PRE-sale.

Love,

so true......

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:24 PM

Hey everyone - chill out...the general onsale is July 31. If you want to go, you'll be able to get tickets. There were 510 "fan" club tickets for presale each night. There will be lots more for the two nights on the 31st.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:24 PM

got 2 tix for the 25. that was easy.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:25 PM

What constitutes it being "easy" or "hard" to get tickets? Aren't we all just clicking buttons on a website? What's easy or hard about that? Did the people who got tickets click their mouse harder or something?

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:33 PM

"Thanks for posting the code for the tickets that where meant only for nin.com! lamers =PD"

if it makes you feel any better, i got the password form bowery presents

No, they clicked faster you moron.

It all depends on how fast you are, and these people thought it wasn't too hard to get through before they sold out.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:59 PM

omg...i cannot WAIT to scalp these 4 tix i got. THANKS FOR THE PW BV!!! you just made me 500 bucks.

any of you losers interested in a 4pack? $760!

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 5:59 PM

"No, they clicked faster you moron.

It all depends on how fast you are, and these people thought it wasn't too hard to get through before they sold out."

So instead of all those people saying "that was easy," they should have said "I clicked my mouse faster than you?"

If everyone's logged in at 5pm & only a certain number of people are getting tickets, it probably has more to do with luck than mouse-clicking-speed, moron. I doubt that any of us are as slow as grannies on the computer.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 6:03 PM

Seriously, are you dumb. It's first come, first served. Whether you click a split second faster than others or longer, you will get tix if you're fast. Most people don't know all the tricks with Ticketmaster- and those who took the time to learn them deserve the tix.

And if you're computer froze- buy a better computer and pay for a faster connection.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 6:09 PM

"Thanks for posting the code for the tickets that where meant only for nin.com! lamers =P"

The code was also given out to Bowery Presents to subscribers. Y'know, so the regular concert-goers and musically-interested in NYC could go and not just the obsessive fanboys.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 6:21 PM

Just purchased 2 for my son and then realized I now have to pickup the tix. What are the chances of him getting in if I give him my ID and credit card? How closely do they check?

Posted by anonymous | July 24, 2009 6:21 PM

Anon 6:21 You're going to be shit out of luck.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 6:50 PM

6:21, how old are you? How old is your son? Are you sure you're not just a scalper looking for advice?

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 7:12 PM

6:21 You're going with your son.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 7:42 PM

My son is going with his girlfriend. I want to save a trip from NJ. A scalper? I would have to be a thief to possess a credit card and passport with the purchasing name on it.

Posted by Fat Old Guy | July 24, 2009 8:21 PM

I went to ac/dc msg through ticketmaster paperless & they never checked id. Just give them the cc, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2009 8:41 PM

I tried.
I failed.
Next time I better click my mouse REALLY hard like right through the goddamn desk and maybe I will get some. Besides these IKEA desks aren't that strong
