Can you stop posting about this?

As someone who's actually supported NIN for the past ten years, I really don't want to get shut out by posers who only care now that NIN is cool again...

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 3:54 PM

don't worry, Nine Inch Nails isn't cool again.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 3:55 PM

The Bjork banner is very annoying.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 3:55 PM

^True!^ LOL

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 3:55 PM

Oh MAN am I going to me made posing at this one!

Posted by Yuppie Poser / True NIN fan hater | July 10, 2009 4:05 PM

354 - youre a fucking douchebag. i bet youve been a NIN fanclub member since before you needed to signup to grab presale bowery tickets to scalp! speaking of which...holler at me if yer shut out...and start saving now you BASTARD!!!!! woahahahaha!

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 4:08 PM

"Nononono...not gonna play in the talent show."

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 4:13 PM

4:08

can't wait to see you stuck with tickets you can't scalp, you fucking moron.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 4:13 PM

@4:08 No, I have been a member since I needed to buy tickets to the Hammerstein shows four years ago.

And you can't scalp with these tickets, you idiot.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 4:15 PM

any clue how much these will cost?

Posted by Ian | July 10, 2009 4:18 PM

yeah, i'm sure these are really there "10 last shows"

Posted by d | July 10, 2009 4:19 PM

Wish they'd give a time, so I can block my calendar for the 2 minutes they'll actually be on sale.....

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 4:19 PM

i personally like how 10 years is suppossed to be like old school for a NIN fan

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 4:19 PM

ten years on this board is like a millennium...

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 4:31 PM

I saw NIN at Webster Hall in 1994, so eat my tits!

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 4:34 PM

^ LOL true

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 4:35 PM

@4:19 Considering the average age of bkv readers is probably mid-twenties, then yes.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 4:36 PM

Average age seems to be 16, FR.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 4:37 PM

Crystal Castles 2009 > NIN 1989

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 4:37 PM

um actually you can scalp
you can either get a pair, sell just one of the tickets (you'll have to walk in w/ them)

or you and a friend both get a pair
that way you will each have an extra
and you can advertise as a 'pair' and walk in with 2 people . . .

good luck !

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 4:38 PM

"Crystal Castles 2009 > NIN 1989"

Epic troll

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 4:38 PM

indefinite hiatus = until his money starts running out.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 4:39 PM

nin at hammerstein in '05 was amazing. unfortunatly i will be out of town in august.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 4:51 PM

4:38

if you think there's any way you're getting two pairs of tickets to the bowery presale you're out of your fucking gourd

enjoy putting the most work into scalping you've ever done in your life

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 4:53 PM

"enjoy putting the most work into scalping you've ever done in your life"

Yeah but if you pull it off probably the biggest payday ever. I expect single tickets for Bowery to be changing hands for $1000+

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 4:58 PM

My 28 year-old ass has been "supporting" NIN since Downward Spiral in '94. So by 3:54pm's logic, I should get a pair of Bowery tickets before him. (Dumbass)

Posted by M | July 10, 2009 5:01 PM

i bet you were really feelin' it at 13, bro.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 5:16 PM

Thanks for the great laugh in the afternoon...

This thread is MAKING HISTORY

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 5:28 PM

when is Daf... nevermind

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 5:36 PM

Best Bowery Ballroom show of 2009....which one will it be???

1) NIN?
2) Animal Collective?
3) Morrissey?
4) Green Day?
5) ??? (Arcade Fire.....)

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 5:37 PM

I'll go with #1. Impressive resume for bowery in '09.

Maybe the world ends.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 5:44 PM

I was feeling it as much as any other 13 year-old was feeling the "Closer" video. But at least I stuck with them as I matured.

Posted by M | July 10, 2009 5:49 PM

And this sounds strange, but I honestly hope these shows are expensive to deter any amateur scalpers. Hopefully they will be hard to scalp too... but I for one wouldn't mind paying around $100+ face value. I think most true fans wouldn't think twice about it.

Posted by M | July 10, 2009 6:07 PM

5:01 is priceless truth.

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 6:27 PM

i just registered for the membership today, so with luck I hope to get a ticket for whatever show, all venues are small enough to assure an amazing night
just like it happened with Morrissey all the scalpers will try to buy for Bowery while Webster Hall was ignored and that's where most people were able to get tickets for

Posted by Anonymous | July 10, 2009 6:42 PM

THIS IS IT

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2009 1:49 AM

all of you are so annoyingly lame.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2009 1:49 AM

I will be there for his final performance and know it will be awesome! Hope to see some of you there!

Posted by Karen | July 11, 2009 3:08 AM

^^ I didn't know that Trent's mother read BV!!

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2009 9:58 AM

fuck this shit. what about michael jackson?

"Can you stop posting about this?

they were making music way before 1999, sorry but you are not a real fan

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2009 2:36 PM

ten years of NIN support? wow, you only missed the first ELEVEN years. you surely deserve trent's undying gratitude a free pair of VIP tickets.

Posted by Anonymous | July 11, 2009 5:35 PM

NIN was once considered "not cool"? ... I must've missed the memo.

Posted by Anonymous | July 12, 2009 3:07 PM

nine inch nails is not cool

Posted by Anonymous | July 12, 2009 5:21 PM

mew will also support at terminal 5 in nyc on the 26th.

Posted by isaac | July 13, 2009 11:31 AM

Mew is great

Posted by Anonymous | July 14, 2009 11:22 AM

Is this working for anyone? I can't even get nin.com to come up. (And yes, I started trying before 5.)

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:06 PM

It's not working!

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:07 PM

not working for me either...

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:07 PM

ITS NOT LOADING!! IM GONNA RAGE

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:08 PM

Not that I had high hopes for getting tix anyway but this is painful. I hate on ticketmaster fees as much as the next guy but at least their system works.

Posted by mp77 | July 17, 2009 5:09 PM

I left my browser on the website so when it was 5 pm I just clicked on the link to the show and I had to wait for a couple of minutes
Somehow I got through and was able to get two tickets for Bowery
But then tried to get two for my friend and it seems like every show is sold out :(

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:11 PM

Couldn't even log into the site. Wat pisses me off is not just that they didn't have the bandwidth but that when it did load, it said my username and password was no good, even after I reset it!

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:12 PM

easily got bowery tickets. pretty shocked, actually. went straight to the musictoday ticket site instead of nin.com though.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:13 PM

THIS FUCKING SUCKS

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:14 PM

Everything is sold out?

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:14 PM

gone

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:15 PM

i hope you guys are just trolling about it being sold out -- i cant even get on the fucking site

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:15 PM

try using two different browsers, I did that and one worked while the other didn't
but as of ten minutes ago all shows were sold out, sorry to carry the bad news

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:17 PM

If NIN hates playing a sold out arena in NYC and likes clubs here-Why Manhattan not clubs in Brooklyn?

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:19 PM

FUCKIN SHIT

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:21 PM

Got em, for Webster. Tried for T5, completely gone. But these are just pre-sale for T5. More tix will be on sale for those two shows next week.

Posted by panopticon | July 17, 2009 5:22 PM

is anyone one "in line" for tickets? i don't know if i should wait or now. assuming everything is sold out.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:23 PM

waiting room the whole time

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:24 PM

Terminal 5 are only presale tickets, regular tickets will be sold through TM in the following days so don't fret.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:25 PM

probably a good thing trent deleted his twitter account.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:26 PM

BS... got in, wouldnt recognize my login (which IS valid), had to re-register with diff username... then it let me in, but all tix were gone.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:28 PM

according to the site, "New York Tickets are currently sold out."

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:28 PM

so i'm sitting in the waiting room for half an hour like a fucking idiot for nothing then...

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:29 PM

this is ridiculous.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:29 PM

at least ticketmaster is upfront about the way they rape you.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:30 PM

got 2 for webster hall.
will consider interesting trades.
(beejers)

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:32 PM

Were they really not excpecting this many people? This is embarassing.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:32 PM

am pissed...got shut out.

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:42 PM

i'm pissed because i put up my craigslist ad for 2 tickets, and now people keep e-mailing me saying that i can't sell 2 tickets bc there will-call, like i don't know what i'm fucking doing. i hate wasting time sifting through idiot hate mail, you know what i mean guys?

YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN?

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:52 PM

NIN always provides the best tix for their fans
I think the fact that so many people and scalpers flooded the site has nothing to do with "raping" people unlike TM. It has happened with EVERY band that played a small gig in the past in NYC: the demand is probably 100 to 1 and of course many people get shut out
So what? it's not the end of the world. If you are a true NIN fan you have surely seem them plenty of times in the past, alas not in an intimate setting but still. So quit whining people!

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 5:52 PM

youre all idiots!
i saw nin open for skinny puppy in 89, so suck my balls!@

Posted by Anonymous | July 17, 2009 10:27 PM

wow... i think they sold out today in about 10 seconds

Posted by Anonymous | July 31, 2009 5:09 PM

i rushed home so that i could login exactly at five... my theory is that they had no tickets to sell today at all. TM just likes to f**k with people. The NIN site already says the Terminal 5 shows are sold out. oh well.

Posted by gotihateTM | July 31, 2009 5:28 PM

According to an email from their publicist earlier this week, all tickets were sold out during the presale. Why they bothered acting like they were back on sale at all baffles me.

Posted by Anonymous | July 31, 2009 5:35 PM

My daily LiveDaily e-mail from a couple of days ago also said forget about general sale today - the shows sold out during the presales.
