umm, anyone else think watching these bands for free from the comfort of your own living room without a huge old clusterfuck is better than having paid admission!??!

hey, 10:59...I just urbandictionaried your shit. ASL apparantly means: age, sex, location. Now that I am hip with the lingo--I am 25 years old, a man, and I live in New York. Brooklyn to be exact. Like this vegan who runs a certain pathetic blog.

Shake me into the night
And I'm an easy lover
Take me into the fight
And I'm an easy brother
And I'm on fire

Burn my sweet effigy
I'm a road runner
Spill my guts on a wheel
I wanna taste uh-huh
And I'm on fire
And I'm on fire

And I'm on fire...
(Im going, you tell me, I feel it, I say it
I'm heading back into the tunnel for my soul to burn)
And I'm on fire...
(I'm coming, you coming, no hiding, my feeling
I wanna take it to the highest over me, yeah...)
Whoo Whoo
Whoo Whoo

Wire me up to machines
I'll be your prisoner
Find it hard to believe
You are my murderer
I'm on fire behind you
Heads a fallen sky

And I'm on fire...
(Im going, you tell me, I feel it, I say it
[ Kasabian Lyrics are found on www.songlyrics.com ]
I'm heading back into the tunnel for my soul to burn)
And I'm on fire...
(I'm coming, you coming, no hiding, my feeling
I wanna take it to the highest over me, yeah...)

And I'm on fire...
I'm on fire...

Move on, you got to move on
You got to hit 'em to the hip
And get your shake on

Move on, you got to move on
You got to hit 'em to the hip
And get your shake on

(I feel it, I want it, I'm coming, I tell ya, I caught the bullet from the heavens to the one you serve,
I'm going, I'm running, out to the highest love
I'm wanna hit you to the hip...

(I'm on fire...)
Move on, you got to move on
You got to hit 'em to the hip
And get your shake on

(I'm on fire...)
Move on, you got to move on
You got to hit 'em to the hip

pains of being pure at heart really suck

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2009 4:24 PM

they are so precious. only thing I understand is "in back of my mothers car" so you fill in the rest. the chick is in there cause she cute and can play the keys!

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2009 4:51 PM

yeasayer rocked it. new percussionists are hot.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2009 7:06 PM

These new Yeasayer tunes are very good. I am always surprised how well they translate to open air venues. I would think they would suck in such a setting.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2009 7:14 PM

I'm a bit dissapointed that I don't enjoy Beirut as much live. Well, this is just a stream of their performance but still... I wish Zach's voice sounded as good as it does recorded :(

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2009 8:43 PM

I take that back, I'm beginning to enjoy it more. Scenic World is so beautiful.
