tonight's Steely Dan Beacon Theatre show is cancelled...

Steely Dan was scheduled to play the Beacon Theater tonight (7/29), but the show has been cancelled with "Reschedule info to follow". Last night's show (7/28) did happen though, and so far all the other zillion shows they have coming up at the Beacon are still happening too (and still on sale) (thx Sean).

It's because their fans couldn't make it with all those NJTransit problems caused by the rain.

There ain't nothing wrong with Ohio--they have some good roller coasters! I am, however, not from there, though I did live there one summer.

Heck, there's nothing wrong with NJ either!

Oh, if you want to make fun of where I was born, I'll give you good material: It was the last state in the nation to celebrate MLK Jr's birthday. This was particularly embarrassing considering it's a northern state...

He said he had a cold, but you could hardly tell. I have seen them a "zillion" times. Last night's was one of the best performances, if not the best. Definitely their best band that I have seen.

So what time do these gigs actually start. 8pm seems like a stretch to me. Going 7/31 and don't want to miss anything.
