Metropolitan Opera performs for free at the Central Park Summerstage tonight.

Rev. Vince Anderson continues his Monday residency at Union Pool.

Wilco and Yo La Tengo perform at KeySpan Park. On Saturday, Wilco will be in Wappingers Falls, NY (about 90 minutes north of NYC), where they'll play with Conor Oberst & the Mystic Valley Band.

Future Of The Left, who just played Spike Hill last night, perform at Maxwell's with Me You Us Them. They'll also be at Siren Fest this Saturday.

Aimee Mann will be at City Winery for a three-night run starting tonight, as part of her July tour dates.

Michael Showalter, Kumail Nanjiani, Pete Holmes, Sean Patton, Liam McEneaney and Luke Cunningham bring "A Very Good Show" to Bruar Falls tonight. Showalter, who hosted LPR's Radio Happy Hour on Saturday, has new show with Michael Ian Black called Michael & Michael Have Issues premiering on Comedy Central this Wednesday. On Wednesday, they'll both be at the Bell House hosting a live screening/debut party. Also...

In what is believed to be a first for a scripted series, "Michael & Michael" will feature live commercials during six of its seven episodes, as Messrs. Black and Showalter humorously wax poetic about the virtues of products including Unilever's Klondike, Dunkin' Donuts, Mike's Hard Lemonade and Palm Pre.[Gawker]
New videos from Lily Allen and The Dead Weather are below. The Dead Weather's album comes out tomorrow; they'll be at Terminal 5 on Thursday and Friday...

What else?

Great show. Much better than last year's show at McCarren. Yo La Tengo killed it with Story of Yo La Tango.

I am surprised they did only one song off of Mermaid Ave. Great setlist, the only lame part was Feist.

Oops, two songs, I forgot about California Stars.
