Bob Dylan / Willie Nelson show cancelled due to heat
"Given the weather forecast and excessive heat predicted for Tuesday, August 11 in the Phoenix area, it has been determined that these conditions have the potential to cause a serious health risk to the public, as well as the working personnel at the venue. After careful consideration, it has been determined that this potential risk is too great for all involved." [Bob Dylan.com]

Shows canceled due to too much sun and shows canceled due to too much rain. The world is out to get each and every one of us.

Weather.com estimates a high of 107 degrees. It's way hotter than that every year at Coachella and only a few people die each day. Pussies.

They always do say that the elderly need to avoid excessive heat, so this makes sense.

Speaking of the crossroads of Global Warming and music, just how environmentally friendly is vinyl? Could the resurgence of petrochemical vinyl pressings be feeding the climate change beast? That's 180 grams of sonic solar suicide, I say. haha just kidding, I just saved a sweet copy of Cream's Wheels of Fire from a landfill by buying it used instead of new. If you shop for vinyl with a reusable burlap bag to bring your purchases home, all is forgiven, though suspiciously.
