I was able to pull lots of tickets for weeks. Now right before 5pm nothing comes up to make people think it's sold out. Bowery Presents are such bullshitters.

Seriously, this is pathetic. Incidentally, the seats that come up now suck.

I'm happy I got to see them at Webster Hall last year because they'll never play a small venue again.

They'll play a small venue again when a new album is being released.

Why bother? Its the fuckin Izod center. You missed your shot it will never be the same. So do what i did, buy two tickets and give them to your little sister as a graduation gift. Then impress her with a story about how you saw them "at Webster Hall a last year."

Wow, is the Nassau show sold out too? Can't believe these dorks can fill two area-arena shows.

And I will brag about seeing them in a tent at bonnaroo with a bunch of stupid hippies...good times.

KOL used to be good when I was the only one who could hear their music. Once the actual CDs got released, they had the audacity to gain fans. What sellouts.

Actually, GA Floor tickets were sold out beforehand, but I logged in at 5 pm and snagged 2. Glad they released tickets or rearranged the stage or whatever. I like this revived trend of arena/stadium shows having GA Floor arrangements: Iron Maiden, Green Day, Foo Fighters, U2, even Springsteen at his final Giants Stadium shows. If you get close enough, you can mentally block out the upper levels and just pretend you're on the floor at Roseland or Hammerstein.....

Gee, another thread about how Bowery sells more tickets as the show approaches. Clue in to the fact that everyone does this, whether or not there are production changes, and that there are always more tickets avail as the show approaches as guest list, building, and other holds get released.
Why bitch when maybe you can find a good pair?
Also, if you don't think they can sell arenas - they've been doing it the whole tour. Yes, the new album is pop, but people like it. Generic, I don't usually go to concerts people.
the show still features a ton of the early stuff, and the new stuff actually plays well. It's now an arena band. Deal w/ it.
End of thread. Please shut down. :>
