"Land of Talk have announced a west coast tour beginning October 27th in San Diego, and running through November 7th in Vancouver B.C.. To complement to tour, the band will be releasing an EP with 4 new songs and 3 videos, entitled 'Fun and Laughter'. After having been sidelined for much of the year with a vocal ailment, front woman Elizabeth Powell is now gearing up for a busy fall."The vocal problems they're referring to led to some cancellations on Land of Talk's 2008 tour with Broken Social Scene where Elizabeth was also acting as BSS female vocalist. No east coast dates yet (they will be announced "very soon"), but the new EP (which you can add to the list of new things Saddle Creek is doing) is exciting, as is the band's nifty new video which is below with the tracklist and tour schedule...

I like the haircut and I like The Three Stooges, so what's the problem?

Hey, Give her a break!
We only have one hairdresser in Canada, and he only knows how to cut for hockey helmets.

Her Haircut looks like my penis head. I on the other hand am extremely fashionable and look fierce. This makes me very confident and able to condescend on others so that they can reflect and destroy their image and be born again into trendy hip masterhood.

p.s. I'm just joking and applying crude realities of others ignorance and stupidity, making fun of someone's hair. I think she looks cute, and I like this band a lot from the short time I've heard them.

I wouldn't hit that penis head with your penis head.

Liked mostly all of applause but only liked 1 track on lakes barely. On both albums the recording sounds harsh. The hair is alright.
