Monolith Festival

The final lineup for Monolith Festival, which takes place at the Red Rocks Ampitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, on September 12th-13th, is below. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Girl Talk headline Saturday night at the festival, and the Mars Volta and MSTRKRFT top the bill on Sunday. Deer Tick, Passion Pit, Doom, The Walkmen, The Thermals, and HEALTH are also some of the bands on the two-day bill.

Can't Girl Talk just go away. He's like the Milli Vanilli of our time. What do people say when they watch him "perform"? Wow, look at him press those buttons! I liked him even less the first time around when he was called Fatboy Slim (who can at least play an instrument)

girl talk is a fun dj. people like to dance. i dont get why people complain about him and not every other dj in the world just because he plays rock clubs instead of dance clubs.

The Monolith Festival happens in what could be one of the best venues in the world: Red Rocks. 15 miles outside of Denver exists a spot that is "geologically formed," which is to say, the big red rocks are real.
