In my haste to get tix, I followed the link. Got tix and reviewed after to see that it was for Thursday show and not the crazy Tuesday line up. What are the chances of GFK showing up to both?

Ghostface is billed on both dates. He's the only other person besides Raekwon that is on the bill at SOB's

BV- were you at the NIN show on Tuesday night at T5 wearing a black shirt that said 'new york city' on the back? Just curious

Sorry if that sounded creepy- I was standing behind 'you' (or at least I think it was you)... I saw you posting stuff on your iPhone and wondered, is that the infamous BV?? B/c it looked like all of your posts had the BV title page

I've been burned one too many times by "hip-hop" shows...except for the Roots, I find that most times they're just a bunch of thugs up on stage yelling "shout-outs" and blabbering non-sense, and whenever they do actually begin to play a recognizable "song", it lasts for about 30 seconds till they just start clowning around again on stage. I'll enjoy the album, but live? No thanks.

Hopefully you didn't waste that much money over the years.
Stick with real music and you'll be fine.

The price changed twice yesterday on their website, there's no Will Call OR Pick Up tickets option, and Santos is notorious for fuckin shit like this up. This lineup is insane, but $30 is a lot to spend on the faith that it's not a complete debacle.

It'll be a waste don't bother. How any rap show goes:
Whole place is filled with smoke, finally come on about three hours late. Only half of who was announced show up, all of them are drunk. A lot of shouting into the microphone about boroughs. DJ plays beats for a minute while everyone on stage goes OOOOOHHHH YOU KNOW DIS ONE SON. More shouting now from some no name friend of theirs, repeat for thirty minutes. Fight ends the night.

Yup that is why bands like The Roots will always be given credit when compared to stories like that. They show up on time and play music, which is innovative in the hip-hop community.
