Cass McCombs playing Bowery Ballroom ++ videos

Cass McCombs (whose MySpace says he is from Chicago/New York) was in NYC in July and August, playing two shows of his own (at Joe's Pub and Union Hall) and appearing unannounced (sort of) with Mike Bones at the Cameo on August 13th. At that gig, Cass played behind Mike Bones along with Doug Shaw aka Highlife aka Sleepy Doug Shaw from White Magic.
He'll be back (or is he already here?) for a show at Bowery Ballroom on Monday, November 9th. Tickets go on sale Friday, September 25th at noon.
Cass McCombs' new video for "The Executioner's Song" was directed by Aaron Brown, who also directed the video for McCombs' "Dreams-Come-True-Girl." Both of those videos are posted below...

9:42, unconfirmed. Still waiting to hear back from MaCrotch's tour manager, but a reliable source tells me MaCrotch will playing a small unannounced bedroom gig for close friends and a few lucky fans that night. Stay tuned for more MaCrotch-related details as they come.
