Fucked Up playing full album in Brooklyn on Nov 5th
HEY WE ARE PLAYING OUR ENTIRE CHEMCOM ALBUM ON NOV 5 IN BROOKLYN WITH SOME COOL SPECIAL GUESTS. OR ARE WE? -Fucked Up
Fucked Up @ Pool Party in July (more by Bao Nguyen)

Yesterday in our FYF Fest post we wrote that hopefully Fucked Up would be playing an NYC show sometime soon. Then we noticed the above message. Are they playing 2008's The Chemistry Of Common Life on November 5th? If so, where? Todd P currently has a "venue tba" show happening on that date with the band Grass Widow (who will be in town for a few days that week). Brooklyn Bowl is occupied on that date, but Music Hall of Williamsburg is clear.
UPDATE: It looks like it's Brooklyn Masonic Temple.
F'd Up recently played a set of European (and other summer) festivals. Their set at Glastonbury, as captured on YouTube, had a number of highlights - Damian crowdsurfing, Damian climbing the scaffolding...the songs. Clips are posted below...
Fucked Up 'Crooked Head' at Glastonbury Festival 2009 's John Peel Stage
A classic and legendary Glastonbury Festival performance takes place as Fucked Up 's frontman Pink Eyes (Damian Abraham) crowd surfs whilst singing 'Crooked Head'. He then gets down in the mosh pit and then amazingly leads the mosh pit crowd like a punk pied piper all the way to the back of the John Peel Stage tent. (1) Like a fat bald headed man version of Jaws, he emerges at (1:27 mins) into the video straight in front of where I am filming and continues towards the back of the tent as I am caught in the mosh pit wake. (2) At (2:15 mins to 2:20 mins) you see me along with another 20 people and the sound crew in front and behind me feed Pink Eyes with what seems to be the longest mic lead in rock history as he continues his punk conga to the back of the John Peel tent. (3) (2:25 mins) Abrahams climbs the wheelchair viewing platform and sound technician's stand as he continues singing, shaking the hands of all the guys sat there viewing the performance like the true punk gentleman he is. The performance ends as Fucked Up's front man points at himself on the large video screen and says: 'Who's that sexy mother fucker?' A truly hilarious and exhilarating piece of Glastonbury history in the making.
Fucked Up frontman climbs the rigging at John Peel Stage Glastonbury Festival 2009 singing
Fucked Up's frontman Pink Eyes (Damian Abraham) climbs the rigging at the John Peel Stage at Glastonbury Festival 2009 whilst singing 'Son the Father'. A far superior and cool security team at the 2009 Festival allow him to carry on performing compared to the amateurish cowboy security team employed last year who cut the sound on fellow Canadians Crystal Castles when Alice Glass (Crystal Castles) tried to do the same thing. Kudos to the security guys. Even bigger Kudos to Pink Eyes for attempting the climb wearing wellies!

Why speculate the venue? That's not like BV? Just let it happen.

I just dont get how this band is popular. I understand enjoying the live energy of their shows, but there are many, many bands that do intense, loud rock shows better. And their album is just garbage.
