Marissa Nadler

Since releasing Little Hells in March of this year, Marissa Nadler has been somewhat busy. She played Highline Ballroom with Handsome Family in April before an extensive European tour. Shortly after that she played a June show at Mercury Lounge with James Blackshaw (then traveled to Europe again). Most recently she appeared at the Joe's Pub "Tribute to Connie Converse" on Labor Day weekend. David Garland says the latter "was a wonderful experience".

In case you missed all her shows this year, Nadler now performs with a full band. The members are Carter Tanton (Tulsa) on electric guitar/harmony vocals, Ben McConnell on drums (Kip Malone, Espers) and Jonas Haskins on bass (formerly of Earth). And she's on tour again this October and November. Joining her will be Alela Diane (who has a new 10" EP, Alela And Alina, coming out with Alina Hardin on Rough Trade October 6th).

Their tour comes to NYC on November 13th for a show at (Le) Poisson Rouge and November 14th at Union Hall. Tickets aren't up yet.

Videos from Marissa's spring & summer tours are posted below (also, the track above is from her new album)...

She is boring as hell but her music can get you laid and she's way hot.

Could that video BE any darker??..PS I'd hit it.

I love her songs. And I find them both dark and uplifting somehow. I definitely recommend checking her out, even though I'm just some guy posting on a message board. Her music's great.

I will recommend not to hold back until you earn enough money to order goods! You should just get the business loans or just college loan and feel fine
