Dammit, Pavement, how many cum rags are you going to make me go through this week, guys? You're my favorite band of all time, but please be considerate of my seed.

I am pretty sure PRE sale means more tickets will be available at a later date, do you concur BVers?
Posted by Kurt Cocaine | September 18, 2009 11:31 AM
11:31- I don't think so. According to Pitchfork: "Predictably enough, that show sold out in two minutes." They're gone, baby. Gone.

dear late bloomers.
enjoy seeing the reunion.
it'll be good i'm sure. but you missed the boat.
so enjoy paying too much to then talk over and ignore the band and then blog about how they're "over hyped" and "not that good".
Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2009 11:42 AM
Maxwells? Try Madison Square Garden.
Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2009 11:44 AM

I said the word "absurd" aloud while i was buying these. But I bought them. Fuck it, it's going to be so epic.
Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2009 11:51 AM
I got 4 tickets to the show, but then a year passed before it actually happened and I even forgot who pavement was or what the value of 100 bucks used to be.
Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2009 11:53 AM
This will be the most deck event of 2k11
Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2009 11:53 AM

WTF, couldn't Pavement / CP Summer Stage annouce from the beginning that three shows were planned?
Would have preferred Thurs over Tues. Tix prices are going to plummet one week before the show...
Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2009 11:59 AM
they were always going to add shows. and you can buy thursday and sell tuesday (or, gasp, go twice!). these tickets will be easy to sell/trade
Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2009 12:04 PM
I saw the show on the 21st. It was great. I had no idea that investing a few bucks way back in 2009 would bring me such a huge jackpot of douchebags in 2010.
Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2009 12:06 PM
They'll be playing ATP next year for sure.
Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2009 12:12 PM
Ok Archers Of Loaf NEED to get it together now...
Posted by michaelways | September 18, 2009 12:16 PM
it's so funny we went right down to the store
we got the money so we'll put you down
we got the money, we got the money, we got the money
we got the money, we got money, we got the money
ho! we got the money now
and i won't even let you hoooooo....
Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2009 12:20 PM
"WTF, couldn't Pavement / CP Summer Stage annouce from the beginning that three shows were planned?"
BV said he heard there were 4 shows @ Central Park. You don't need to blow your load on the the pre-sale. Wait until all four (if they really add Friday) go on-sale and then next during the general on-sale you can pick whichever day is best for you.
Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2009 12:21 PM
thursday is gonna be the easy one to sell. tuesday is gonna be the hard one to sell.
Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2009 12:22 PM
fuck yeah! got two!
this show is going to be AWESOMEE!!!
Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2009 12:23 PM
The sound is always decent--and free--outside Summerstage. That's where I'll be, for at least two of the nights.
Posted by Regular reader | September 18, 2009 12:28 PM
Yeah I vote for hangin outside the show. Will be free and can pick the day based on the weather. On top of this it will keep options open if I want to see other shows. Pavement are not much of a visual band anywhoo...
Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2009 12:30 PM
"yeah, cause portishead is as big as pavement, right?"
Wait, are Pavement a bigger deal than Portishead? Pretty sure it's the other way around. I could never get into Pavement myself.
Posted by Aaron | September 18, 2009 12:31 PM
Quit trolling.... no one likes pavement
Posted by Anonymous | September 18, 2009 12:35 PM
