I like Phoenix and I like my iPod. However, those two combined just make me want to vomit. I have no idea how Apple can charge so much money for products yet still come off as being "cool". I guess it's good marketing?

how/when~~ early should you wait in line to get in?

So what's the drill with the apple in-stores? Do you just show up around an hour beforehand or does it get really ridiculous? I dont need to be in the front, but I would like to be able to get in..

The fan made Brat Pack version of the lizstomania is much better than the official video.

With a performer like Ladyhawke, I would say an hour early is fine. For Phoenix, I'll bet you're looking at more like 2 or 3 hours early, but I could be wrong. I think when KoL did theirs, people were in line early afternoon or some shit.

I'm not going, either way.

isnt ladyhawke more mainstream than phoenix?

8:44 AM "I guess it's good marketing?"

Yes, and it's easy to charge a good mark-up on your products when they are well-designed and actually work as promised (as opposed to Vista for instance). Having said all this I'd trade my iPod to anyone with with a interesting stash of vinyl...

"isnt ladyhawke more mainstream than phoenix?"

To answer your question, no. It has nothing to do with "mainstream." It has to do with popularity. Phoenix are ubiquitously popular right now and everyone wants a taste. It's going to be crowded as fuck.

Since when is Ladyhawke "mainstream"?

Posted by Anonymous | September 22, 2009 10:32 AM

why the fuck did i buy a ticket if they're performing for free? shiaitt.

BC its probably going to be impossible to get in. FREE in New York sucks, I'd rather pay and be guaranteed admission.

"why the fuck did i buy a ticket if they're performing for free? "

You bought a ticket for a real show. These free Apple shows are short and hard to get into.
