I want to like this, but it does sound pretty pedestrian from these clips. We'll see.

sounds like grohl and homme pretending theyre in a zeppelin cover band.

Posted by Anonymous | September 3, 2009 12:58 PM

Probably fun to see live, though

Posted by Anonymous | September 3, 2009 12:59 PM

They will come to NY a few days later, likely at T5 though, which means I won't go. Oh, well.

actually this sounds like a Cream cover band.

this sounds nothing like zeppelin.

Posted by nick | September 3, 2009 2:46 PM

Odds on Oct 13 show in NY?

Posted by Anonymous | September 3, 2009 4:37 PM

Cream? Zeppelin? Do you retards even know how to listen to music? Tell me how????

Believe it or not, Homme and Grohl actually have their own way of playing and writing riffs and it actually sounds like them writing and playing for each other and what they think would be fun to play, and play with JPJ. Listen for chrissakes.

@ 1:16 PM - "when did rocking out go out of style?"

It's hard to pin an exact date, but I'd go with February 3, 1959, after a small-plane crash near Clear Lake, Iowa... so Folk U.

the only thing that bums me out is that JPJ is playing that crappy bass.

Whoever doesn't think that this band is anything less than amazing, you are musically retarded. These people are rock and roll legends.

The songs they perform are really great. Combined with their unique style, they really rock the music scene! No doubt, a large number of audience are always present in their concert tours.
