"I won't see them without Jim Martin."
Good. Don't. You're an idiot.
Since being booted out of Faith No More, Big Jim has demonstrated his "incredible guitar talent" with a crappy solo album and by growing giant pumpkins. Trey Spruance's playing on KING FOR A DAY, FOOL FOR A LIFETIME was great, and Jon Hudson has been just fine since. No one misses Big Jim being in FNM aside from a few select morons (and probably Big Jim himself).

chuck mosley? it's almost universally acknowledged that getting mike patton was an improvement. I'm not that excite w/o jim martin though. even if he sucked after he left and the other guy was fine it still wasn't as good. I just saw shutter to think without their real guitarist (although the original one made a nice appearance) and again, other guy was fine, but it wasn't as good.

Why does everyone hate on Terminal 5 so much. Yeah, it's not great, but I've seen plenty of great shows there. It's rare that a good live band has their show ruined by a venue. The venue has to REALLY blow to do that. NIN and Sunny Day were awesome at Terminal 5. It's no reason to miss a band you like.
Posted by some guy | October 21, 2009 5:34 PM
2 nights at irving guys.
Posted by Anonymous | October 21, 2009 6:01 PM
10 nights at Market Hotel, free hummehs with admission, sponsored by Nike and Todd P's parents
Posted by Anonymous | October 21, 2009 6:10 PM
They will most likely follow the model that the Pixies did when the reunited. They will plan two nights at Hammerstein Ballroom and add dates as they sell out. Definitely their best bet, although I am not crazy about that venue myself. MSG is too much...

Confirmed for Coachella, as are Pavement, The Stooges, Pulp, Air, Thom Yorke, LCD Soundsystem, Soundgarden, U2, Muse.
Posted by Monklish | October 22, 2009 1:06 AM
Faith no More could easily sell out multiple nights at Roseland or Terminal 5.
